Great job on your pantry. I gotten teased for years about my “grocery store”. During my first marriage there were times when I didn’t know where our next meal was coming from. We adopted 3 kids from fostercare and have 3 bio kids. My twins came to us at 14 months old severely malnourished. The pandemic hit on their second birthday. We went out of town to celebrate their bday and the world shut down and we were stuck in a hotel with 2 2 year olds for the weekend. During the pandemic we struggled just like you said to find enough groceries to feed our large family. The twins had been prescribed pedicure to help them gain weight and it was on their WIC vouchers. Finding the amount they were prescribed was literally impossible. Finding milk was a nightmare. As you spoke about your kids with food insecurities and the difficulty of finding groceries during the pandemic I had tears streaming down my face. I lived that nightmare too. My babies were only 2 but they were triggered and I had to ensure them everyday that we would make sure they had plenty of food. It was horrible and like you, I promised myself I would never go through that again. We stock up too. I get it and I see you momma. Hugs.

Alicia, I don't know if you know this or not, but you can freeze bread and it thaws out perfectly....not soggy at all because there's no moisture in bread. It only take an hour or so to thaw out. Also, I buy Sara Lee bread and I've had it sometimes 3 or 4 weeks on the counter and it doesn't mold. It gets a little dry but it doesn't mold. Bread would not need that in your house because you go through bread pretty quickly. Just letting you know. I saw a video of you yesterday making Tater Tot Casserole. I'm so glad you arranged the Tater Tots in an orderly fashion on top of the casserole. I've seen people just pour them on and that gives me anxiety. LOL I always arrange mine in an orderly fashion. Hi Alicia! I was wanting to tell you that you might think about getting a tote with a lid to keep all your lunch chips in? That is what we do and it is so much better to not have to mess with those annoying boxes. A tote holds a lot of those little lunch bags and would give you more space in your garage pantry. Just an idea. 😊

@@jeanne9375girl..you have been back and forth on here for 7 hours answering questions with your assumptions. do you have a life of your own and do you show your husband any attention?
There's only 6 of us here in our house and I keep back-up supplies of the non-perishable foods; obviously not as large as yours, but still. I have 7 kids (only 2 who live with me still), and I'm so used to cooking for a large family. Even now, I make certain things and send them over to some of the other kids homes .. and I also make enough food to have at least another whole meal of leftovers for ourselves. It's going to be hard for me to cook just for my husband and myself when we become empty-nesters by the end of the year. The good thing to do with back-up stock is to continuously go through them for expiration dates, and also to put the new items you just purchased in the back and bring the older items forward to the front.
Just like you enjoy organizing what you need for the next day’s lunches into baskets, you might enjoy having 5-7 baskets for that week’s dinners. That way you can shop from your pantry first (use up older inventory) and then supplement with remaining ingredients from grocery store.
Yep, the pandemic is what made me create a food pantry as well. Even today, where i live in Western Australia, there is sometimes events that reduce the amount of items in the supermarkets resulting in limits on the number of items we can buy. So its always good to have a full pantry for such events. And anything I don't use that gets close to the expiration date, I give to my sister for her family.
I mean I would have thought that common sense would prevail here. A stock take once a month would be a good idea. It would take time but completely empty all ththe shelves and organise them properly. Then you will be able to see what you have and what you need it anything each week. Either that or you're quite happy to let things expire and toss them like it doesn't matter. The current scenario you have is ridiculous!

Some of these comments are SO negative and judgmental! “You had tomato soup in your pantry no need to restock it” you realize she uses probably 4-6 cans at a time for ONE meal! So that means she is restocking to have on hand! She has explained this on numerous occasions why she restocks and keeps things on hand! Yes she does content but you aren’t there 100 percent of the time They feed a lot more family and friends too & she donates and helps others out! ❤ please be kind! You all give off such bad energy it’s ridiculous
I can't agree more! I'm so tired of reading the ugliest comments and everyone who wants to tell her how she should live. If you wouldn't say it to her face, why would you think it's ok to say here?
What about clear totes to put the bags of chips in, the mini muffins, etc? I think the white bins are a great idea, just don’t forget to write on the outside what’s in it
You can order from the dollar store online. But in bulk. So you would need to get at least a pack of 5. Some things more than five. And shipping is usually free.
If you are on TH-cam with your family you should be prepared to have negative comments as well. I admire you taking care of so many kids needing a home. I do think that a diet of so much junk/sugar loaded food is not healthy. We don’t know the background of some of the foster/adopted kids, but a bit more of taking care of their own belongings only helps them in the future. You are not their maid! Personal fridges with snacks is ridiculous, but maybe there is a well thought reason for this. I wish this family well🌷🌷🌷.
The lady I am speaking about isn't from TH-cam , she lives in our Region. The biggest grocery haul, I have ever saw was $10,000 worth of Food. The lady even bought a Cows at the Market , which is cheaper by the pound. She had over 8 Freezer , several refrigerators and a huge room to store the regular food. She's very Organized. Weekly and Yearly haul by the thousands of dollars.
This is not realistic. You have more mushroom soup than a the grocery store. This is no longer real-it’s you telling people you spend two thousand dollars on bullcrap. It’s so fake
Alicia. NI noticed you bought tomato soup on your last haul at Walmart. However, you have several cans of tomato soup on your shelf. Why don't you make your menu list while looking at your pantry shelves. You can use up what you have. It just seems to me that you just like to shop. There are people out there who can't afford the regular staples and seeing you buy almost everything you touch at the store just seems very sinful. Maybe donate some of your stuff on the shelves if you are not going to use it. Thank you
I was adopted at 3 weeks old so I didn't have food insecurity but each time you tell that story, I tear up. You guys are such amazing parents, and since watching you I stalk up too now. Getting low on food makes me super anxious and I am like you, I believe the pandemic had a play in that as well. Though I live alone so I really feel for you guys. I love your panty, and I want to redo mine. Don't ever let anyone tell you how you parent is wrong, because I just adore you and Josh and your family. :) Smiles from Nova Scotia.
Hi Alicia I have an idea 4 all the kids chips & snacks 2 get a couple of big bins with lids on so you then can decant them from the boxes into the bins & get rid of the boxes in 1 go then you sud have space in the garage food stock area.
They have frozen bisquits in the frozen section. There is a big bag all different kinds. Orange marmalade on them are super good. Just an idea for breakfast. We bake the bisquits in the oven and put scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon and orange marmalade. It's kind of like a sweet McGriddle.
Ive seen that you can get a system that rotates your cans old ones at front and new at back as you get one they roll round in order so you dont throw things out
I did a super large haul and OMG! I do not know how you do this. Oh man, walking from 1 side to the other and than back again. I have to say, you are a Super Mom! I loved saying Cart 1 and than 2 and than 3.

That’s what I’m doing with my deep freeze..I want to clean it out and get the ice build up off the sides and restock it some.
Why do people have to leave such hateful comments? If you don’t like this family or their content don’t watch it’s that simple. And also don’t worry about how much money she spends on groceries and things they need it’s not your money is it? Nope
Because they are immature for their age !!! lol They are Jealous because they aren't making $$$$$.
They need to get them a life or start their own YOutube channel.
Well said🥰
i don’t think it’s her money either. she definitely gets some sort of assistance because youtube doesn’t pay that much especially in her case where her views and likes are pretty low. this is also not thinking about the tens of thousands of dollars she spends at Christmas. A TH-camr and a teacher don’t make that kind of salary.
@@anqwonrandle TH-cam does pay. Google it.
@@ezzar8165grow up? Maybe you should. And realize that just because it’s out there doesn’t give anyone any right to judge someone or to criticize or to bully them for literally everything they do. She could breathe wrong and get told how dare she breathe that way..🤦🏻♀️
if i were u i would do a pantry clean out and only eat what u have for a month challange
if You have stuff that Your family wont eat You could donate them to a local food pantry
She does
@@marjoleinvanlieshout9429 thats awesome
How do you know this?
@@bethbeasley9701 because
@@bethbeasley9701 she said so in this video and in lots of videos before. The fact she doesn't show her literally do that doesn't mean she doesnt
Alicia I reckon you should renovate your garage/pantry into a beautiful new kitchen and butler’s pantry for yourself since you spend so much time cooking for your family
It would make great progress vlogging videos too 🧡🧡🧡
1:13:32 I know as a 22 year old those are beers in your door right there ma’am. With the produce? Classy 😂
To be fair it was Josh’s beer fridge before I needed it to be a produce fridge so we compromised and he gets the door. 😂
Thank You for sharing your restocking with us. I love watching your videos. 💕💕
To minimise so many boxes you could convert to container storage and label them 👌
your hair is always lovely and yes I fold my bags as well xx
Isn't it a great feeling when you get your pantry fully stocked and organized? I need to do a reorganization of mine here soon. 😥
Yes!
I do too! Tomorrow that’s my task 😅
She needs to use what she has before going shopping for stuff she does not need!!! Plain common sense!!!!!!!!
You all really need to focus on how you run your home and let her run hers! Yes she does content but you aren’t there 100 percent of the time
They feed a lot more family and friends too & she donates and helps others out! ❤ please be kind! You all give off such bad energy it’s ridiculous
I can't agree more! I'm so tired of reading the ugliest comments and everyone who wants to tell her how she should live. If you wouldn't say it to her face, why would you think it's ok to say here?
As the youngest of a family of 15, I know how it goes.
some are just basic logic common sense comments that’s all! not everything is meant to be ‘mean’
So nice of him to help you with the heavy lifting
you bought tomato soup when you had enough already. Isn’t time with family more important.
Curious… what’s on the other side of those shelves?
What about clear totes to put the bags of chips in, the mini muffins, etc?
I think the white bins are a great idea, just don’t forget to write on the outside what’s in it
Great job Dayshawn!🎉
🧡🧡🧡
you have a washer and dryer now? one helps right!?
Happy Birthday, Zoey! we share the same Birthday 🎉🎉🎉
Happy Birthday Zoey!!!🌼🧡🌼 Great video as always!!!🌼🧡🌼 Happy Wednesday BEAUTIFUL!!!🌼🧡🌼🧡🌼🧡🌼🧡🌼🧡🌼🧡🌼
Thank you!🧡🧡🧡
You can order from the dollar store online.
Really Ridiculous that you think anybody needs that you that much food. Have you ever considered that a lot of that food maybe expired??????
It called having Rules about snacks and Being the Parent!!!!!!!!
Get a clear tote and put all the chips in it and set it on top of the fridge, that would eliminate all the chip boxes!!! Just a thought!!!
Which you tuber is that?
Jammerill Stewart go look at her pantry. Acre homestead go look at hers. Acre homestead has 3 in house. Both keep stock piles
@@rebeccalathrop7802I like Jamerill Stewart ... I watch all her videos ... Alyssa could learn some things from her
why are there locks on appliances?
Thank you
Sinful? 😂
She does donate. Sometimes her kids bio parents come get food as needed. Her mom also does volunteer work and she gives her stuff to take. Etc
Why did you say thank you at the end after such a judgemental post.
Ps. Congrats on getting your laundry room back. You must be so happy. I like it, it's cute.
Happy birthday zoey 🥳🎉🎁🎈nice restock😊❤
The organization system y'all came up with and have been sustaining is just *chef's kiss* 🧡💙
All those chips inside should be eaten before even thinking about buying or opening more.
I can’t get the kids to eat the cheetos in the multi pack 😂
my virgo energy wants to go in aND organize with her lol
This Virgo does as well!
Cringy!!!!
Hey Alicia,
I heard the siren when your garage door was open what that siren is for?
Hello Alisha and beautiful family! I was wondering do you ever Taco Tuesday’s? Would love to see the family night with taco’s!!
Hi Alicia I have an idea 4 all the kids chips & snacks 2 get a couple of big bins with lids on so you then can decant them from the boxes into the bins & get rid of the boxes in 1 go then you sud have space in the garage food stock area.
Suggestion: put the bacon bits with salad dressing or croutons
They have frozen bisquits in the frozen section. There is a big bag all different kinds. Orange marmalade on them are super good. Just an idea for breakfast. We bake the bisquits in the oven and put scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon and orange marmalade. It's kind of like a sweet McGriddle.
Oh yes that’s what I’ll do! Thanks!
Far to much food! You cannot find room for the stuff you bought!!
Put extra chips on top of fridges across from shelves
Ive seen that you can get a system that rotates your cans old ones at front and new at back as you get one they roll round in order so you dont throw things out
Looks like you have a good helper!😊
You're doing awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I did a super large haul and OMG! I do not know how you do this. Oh man, walking from 1 side to the other and than back again. I have to say, you are a Super Mom! I loved saying Cart 1 and than 2 and than 3.
This remind me the show on TLC it called extreme coupons how couple get a lot of groceries..
They couldn't have a show like that now . Food is to expensive !!! I been budgeting for yearssssss.
I have found ways to budget my Power , since it went up last year , power company raised our rates
two times in November 2023.
I don't know how people with a lot of children manages !!! And especially Power and Water .
@@debbiec6216 what about coupon in the newspaper it will save you money??
Apps also save a lot of money
Hang on one second!!! Weren't the bulk number of tins of yams and tins of cranberry to be donated at thanksgiving to local church last year or am I imaging things?!? 😮
I'm sure the dressing croutons are fine.I made a box of stuffing that was a year past date and it wasn't stale at all. I'm convinced they don't put the right date so you buy more. A lot of times they just say "use by"
😟
It should be illegal to adopt children for content. And hoarding, be it children or food, is immoral.
Dayshawn is such a good boy for helping out! Alicia, you sure are blessed! It is so sweet that you make sure they all never have to worry about having enough food to eat. You are a good Mama!
Happy birthday ZOEY ♡♡♡♡
If you take the Rao’s sauce and blend it up in a mixer you can add it to your Prego sauce and no one will ever know!
You buy so much you have to throw away food that expired because you forgot you had it. Such a waste.
It was a couple of items which happens to everyone occasionally
Deshawn did wonderful job
When are you fixing the bread shelf
Does anyone need that much food. It’s ridiculous. You seem to buy just for the sake of it toget more views. Use what you have before spending any more money.
Loved the vid!I'm just wondering can you do an day in an life since all of your kids are home?❤❤
