Got this figure today. Really nice! Always wanted him when I was i kid, but getting him 30 years later is ok. Better late than never, right 😊
Can you imagine we would have had a Ninja figure like this back in the 80's during the Ninja craze? He would be legendary today, LEGENDARY!

Man... I don't remember this figure at all. I was a HUGE He-Man fan and I loved martial arts and ninjas. I'm shocked that I never heard of this character. Very cool new sculpt on it though.

Very cool. I just got the vintage Ninjor at last years Retro Con. I might have to replace the rubber band between his legs sometime. He's got issues standing.
Chained 'chucks or not,he's all win. The extra noggin sold me. Sculpt tooooooo awesome.
Tokka Oroku And I know plenty of people prefer the sculpted chain because of the posing options. It's just a personal preference of mine to have the metal chain. I always loved that about the vintage figure. :-)

The Ninjor I know is blue and created the power coins!
I'm glad the figures outfit is plastic rather than fabric. Shame we never got vintage evil warrior duck feet in classics. Would have been nice to see them on Ninjor.
I always thought Ninjor was one of those characters that didn't fit in with MOTU, but at the same time he did. Yeah I know that doesn't make sense, but since he was from a demonic ninja from another dimension he fit in with the magical element of the He - Man universe.
Dont get the need for secret identities in Masters of the universe anyway... Like not knowing who He-man really is to protect his family. Skeletor and wants to kill everyone anyway..

This is one of my top 5 Classics figures. His face reminds me of Sho Kosugi from the old school Ninja movies.

Dan, speaking about the silver paint on his chest... It seems they forgot to paint the edge of the dragon emblem between the hilt and the pointy red spike thingy sticking out to the right. It's a small line they missed on your figure that should have been silver.
This character is cold.. I had a lot of He-Man characters and had never heard of this one until now.
ninjas are always cool. there was once a flier in a loot crate or one of the million crates. 'which side are you on? pirates vs ninjas'. who wants to be a pirate?! ''oh look i have scurvy.''
bradsdadg meh, anybody can be a pirate, not everybody can be a ninja. it takes sick skill.
No metal chain is a major bummer, I agree one of the highlights of the vintage figure for sure. I appreciate a newly sculpted sword, but looks like it falls a little flat, seems the blade is too small and flimsy, though the handle looks nice. Would have preferred the repainted Jitsu sword like the vintage. Really hoping a future weapons pack will have the real chain chucks, and repainted Jitsu sword. Otherwise this figure looks spectacular. Nice review!
wish the alternate head had the same sumo/samurai style hair and not a pony tail.
Nicely done MOTUC vintage figure update! In fact, this figure is one of the better ones that got too many unnecessary nitpicks from Dan..
HOrseshoeM Disagree, but that's the beauty of this...I get to give MY opinion. Which is how EVERY review should always be looked at. If you disagree with my opinion, that's totally cool! Everyone is entitled to feel the way they want. I found Ninjor lacking in several areas. Some of you may think he's perfect. To each their own.

I had most of the he-man figures when I was a kid but I tore there legs off to make nunchucks :( lol awesome review Dan :)

I would have loved to see his skin tone be green or blue for the absolute demonic look. Otherwise they've done an okay update to arguably the most boring villain in the vintage line.
Dan, have you heard if any custom makers will be making the knumbchucks with metal chains?
Phillip Hicks Haven't heard, but I wouldn't be surprised.
It's not hard to do it yourself. Just cut the plastic chain off then screw some small eye hooks into the ends of the handles and then attach some chain to them. You can get what you need at any craft store.
Like Dan said, its more of the old school feeling. But I do agree with you on the posing and it makes sense for the plastic.

I'm curious how that second head works as a 200X head for Jitsu. Dan, have you tried that just to see?
galmorzu The skin tones definitely don't match well, as Jitsu is more tan.
So who is Ninjor's enemy or nemesis ? I assume Jitsu's nemesis is Fisto.
Oshon The Experience I don't think he had an arch nemesis, per se. But he did kind of hang around with Scare Glow, since Skeletor summoned Ninjor and Scare Glow at the same time in the old mini comic. :-)
Clamp Champ is Ninjor's nemesis.
Did the management give the design department crap for giving a wind blown look way back when they did Count Marzo? I don't like that ponytail. :/
He's already a top contender for the best figure of this year's line! Actually, the name "Ninja Warrior" reminds me of the Japanese competition show Sasuke, which is called Ninja Warrior outside Japan. XD

Because of Power Roids? That jr line? Yeah "Ninja Warrior" doesn't quite have as good of a ring to it as Ninjor lol
because of Power Rangers, their mentor in the original MMPR was a robotic ninja warrior, called Ninjor (or Ninjaman, for you guys at Japan), and he was the most badass thing ever
Why didn't they just name him Nin-jor, Ninyor or Ninjar? Something along those lines. Would make more sense, than Ninja Warrior.

That's the point. Make it close. It's legal to make the name close to the original. Hasbro does it all the time with Transformer names.
