Got 3 slobber knockers coming in a couple days along with the new Berkley power stinger soft plastic trailer that was especially made for it. Can't wait to throw it.
Nice Video my friend and I was finally able to get a ChatterBait Mini and first cast was a huge hit and second cast hung on a Rock and gone forever lol. Great looking Lure.
@@Nick_Hunter2 Lol I couldn’t believe it worked on the very first Cast right under a hanging tree limb covered in leaves still here in the Southeast. I’m going to try to get another one soon.
The slobberknocker looks like a really awesome lure... Looks like it is gonna be better then the jackhammer... Awesome video Debo... Can't wait for the next one
@@crazymixture57 I agree with you 100%. But the chatterbait/jackhammers downfall was wood. That’s why people normally throw a spinnerbait when there is more wood. So I do have to admit, I am intrigued 🤔
That looks like a very well designed lure, I particularly like how the rod through the head limits the side-to-side movement of the head, looks like a winner there.
It’s a great bladed jig. Starts up right away. Durability is a plus, I have had jackhammers get destroyed by catfish while fishing for bass. I have caught two good sized catfish on the slobberknocker with zero problems.
We’ve enjoyed them, and the GF catches most of her feesh on the gold one. Straight up hammered. Myself on the other hand… have yet to get anything on mine.
Another awesome video, I just got one in green pumpkin shad, what little time I've had it the water it was always on the first rotation of the handle it was going. I got the 3/8 one since that's actually over half an ounce.
Gotta love that color!! I need to pick up a pack of those trailers, they look pretty good too! Haven't had the chance to try a slobberknocker yet, but the bite is about to pick up here soon, it might be time.
I have both Chatterbaits and slobberknockers, and it's like having 2 different baits because the thump on the Slobberknocker is a lower one knocker sound but I love both and have been fishing the mini max a lot this year they are awesome
Day in day out Chatterbait + grass= Bass.....it's a no for the slob......3/8oz. Jackhammer in grass...catches um in all conditions...u need grass just add water ! Go shallow under 7'....great and I mean great vids !
Thanks for the video Debo. I'm not interested in getting the slobber knocker. I have enough chatter baits to last for awhile. Maybe down the road if I lose a few. ✌🏻😎🎣
Compared to the Jackhammer, I don't like it as much, I personally found it loses the action pretty quickly when pulled through grass, at least the grass on my lake. maybe other places would have different results, but the Jackhammer usually pulls through my lake's grass and weedbed pretty well.
This has not been a good year so far for me on a chatterbait. Last year was one of my best baits. I've thrown the slobberknocker and i will say it starts up good. It runs really true. I think it lacks a little in the vibration but other than that solid bait
For me, chatterbait struggles in wood. Even with a flat belly trailer. It’s why I usually switch to something else if there’s wood. So this thing looks pretty bad ass to me!!
I live in Southeast Ohio and the bass love green pumpkin purple and black and purple, don't know why but they love those two colors but purple is a must on any of my lures. I would love to know how bass see the color purple
Hey debo thanks for the great content. I’m looking to get a good all around baitcaster and somewhat user friendly (as I am a new angler) in the 200$ to 350$ price range. I can’t really make up my mind I was thinking the tatula elite or the curado dc but I want to make sure I’m getting the best for my money and something that will last a long time. Thank you 🙌
Looks like a pretty nice chatterbait. I like the unique design it has with the blade attachment. Also, great choice in color. P.S. I liked the commentary graphics in this video, more of those in the future please. They were both hilarious and helpful.
New Debo Vidya! I like the 'ol (brand new) Slobknob! I don't think it's a paradigm shift in shackey jigs but it seems like a good incremental change. ANY improvements to help stop $15 baits hanging up from the bank is a "go" for me.
The innuendos is strong with this one!
I could fish bladed jigs all day. They have become my confidence bait for sure (replacing the spinnerbait).
Got 3 slobber knockers coming in a couple days along with the new Berkley power stinger soft plastic trailer that was especially made for it. Can't wait to throw it.
Hey Debo slobber knocker is a pretty sweet lure! Would love to see a side by side shoot out with it vs the jackhammer. Lovin the content man👊
Jack hammer is the best by far
@@DJloudpack3208- why is that? I’m honestly curious, what makes the jack hammer better than the slobberknocker?
By the way, this was the first video of yours I have ever watched. Nice content. I am now a subscriber.
Happy Fishing Monday my friend I whent lake fishing for the first time ever I was getting snagged a lot with grass in the lake
I'll be buying these for sure! Multiple colors & weights. Thanks for the info!
Nice Video my friend and I was finally able to get a ChatterBait Mini and first cast was a huge hit and second cast hung on a Rock and gone forever lol. Great looking Lure.
Man that stinks! Especially since it worked so now you gotta go and get another one!
Buy 3......it's a grass lure ...u can force it in hardcover with a fat trailer.... But it's Majiç in shallow grass...
@@Nick_Hunter2 Lol I couldn’t believe it worked on the very first Cast right under a hanging tree limb covered in leaves still here in the Southeast. I’m going to try to get another one soon.

Being better than the Jackhammer is a tall order. I want to get the slobberknocker to see...because the Jackhammer is my guaranteed fish catcher.

@@dustinwhitlock6986 Very true about wood. I just ordered a slobberknocker to try it and see if it works.
@@crazymixture57 same here!! Good luck!! Hopefully we have the success that Debo had!!
@@dustinwhitlock6986 Thanks you too brother! I know it'd be great haha...tight lines 👍
That looks like a very well designed lure, I particularly like how the rod through the head limits the side-to-side movement of the head, looks like a winner there.
Love the set up. Here in Kentucky I've had great success with a bluegill pattern chatterbait with a black/blue rage menace grub rigged vertical.
@jared - I'm in Louisville, where are you from?
Grew up in Laurel but live in Lexington now
What's your go to on the weekend? Are you throwing the JH or slobberknocker
Just got a couple of Slobberknocker’s. Hopefully toss them later this week. Can’t wait
Big Al find shallow grass fished the Chatterbait since the 90's it's Majiç...only a 6" worm can top it.
I'd like to see side by side same color. Slobberknocker vs Jack hammer day. Great video I've been hitting pretty good with the mini max.
It’s a great bladed jig. Starts up right away. Durability is a plus, I have had jackhammers get destroyed by catfish while fishing for bass. I have caught two good sized catfish on the slobberknocker with zero problems.
So glad you covered the Slobberknocker, been wanting to try it, btw the mini d chunk is a killer trailer!
Hi Debo! Good video brother. Another good bait to check out
Love a good chatterbait bite! Black and blue is a go-to, but that purple is awesome!
Just got mine today can't wait
Looks like I’ll pick up a couple to try am usually a crosseyez or Zman custom thrower. Thanks for putting in some time with it!
That works well! I love bladed jigs!
Love the video. Keep me in a good mood. Keep up your good work
Did I win. Or is it fake.
Hey did I win or was this a scam.
Got a lot of fish look like a fun day. Slobberknocker looks pretty good 👊
That’s an awesome color. Great video ! .... I’m still running the crosseyez. Never had any issue with the crosseyez and they perform for me.
Those crosseyez are great! Price is good too!
What's the difference with the crosseyez?
@@_gw33do_ crosseyez has two wire weed guards. It runs pretty much through anything. Great bank option.
That slobberknocker looks like a great bait! Like the color combo your using in this video!
Great video I love to Power fishing and I love to watch people Power fish
Damn Debo you smacked them today! Atta boy!
I see you getting good casting with your right hand. No more hand switching for debo.
3/8th is less than a half oz, half = 4/8
Wow nice run with the Slobberknocker!
I might want to try the slobber knocker, it seems like a great bladed jig that'll challenge the jackhammer
Oh yeah blk blue purple are killer colors, can't wait to try the stuff I won last giveaway
Gotta love that color!! I need to pick up a pack of those trailers, they look pretty good too! Haven't had the chance to try a slobberknocker yet, but the bite is about to pick up here soon, it might be time.
I have been looking at the slobberknocker for a while now. Gotta get me a few of them
Another incredible day!! Do you have any videos on the job boat?
The BL Special is my favorite color on the slobber knocker
Looks like a decent little lure. I think I’ll stick with my chatterbait for now but maybe when I inevitably lose it I’ll grab one of these to try…
I have both Chatterbaits and slobberknockers, and it's like having 2 different baits because the thump on the Slobberknocker is a lower one knocker sound but I love both and have been fishing the mini max a lot this year they are awesome

Why no? Just wondering
Looks like it worked well for Debo🤷
I’m loving the slobberknocker
This should be a drinking game every time Debo says slobbernocker
Be drunk 3 minutes in
@@PunchFishing oh I know
Looking to get hands on those Slobberknockers!!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!
That slobber knocker color looks great
The slobber looks solid. I will look for 1/4 option as well. Looked like a productive lure for you

I hope to get some soon. I love the colors!
im excited for the coleslaw color
Need to order me some slobberknockers, that berkley scent is 🔥
I got some and I’ve had good success with it! Its the only thing working for me lately! 🤷🏾♂️
I like the blade and how they attached it
Great video as usual , have you try using those mimic minnows , they have them at Walmart .
Caught my pb walleye
Debo - even though you were in the aluminum kayak, I think that the slobberknocker would be great from the bank too!
" crows foot, temple of the dog"..... 😂
great video dude. I have 4 of the. Iove the action
I like it, need to fish it more but has been a producer so far
I’m curious to see how that works in New England.

Who makes the jackhammer??
I did the olive green bulls cap!
If Berley decides to release it in a smaller size, I'll try it out. Since I bank and creek fish, I don't think I would need the full-sized model.
They got it in a 3/8th oz

Same here. Killed on the chatter bait last year & nothing but a couple pickerel this year.
Juicy looking lake

Awesome video
I'm up in Iowa for work right now. Any suggestions on baits for these beginning fall days for this area!?
Haven’t ordered it yet. Looks like a good fish catcher lol.
Does it stay down in the water? I was curious if the larger blade would cause it to ride up in the water column. I need to snag a few. Great vid!!
Great bladed jig considering you didn't get it snagged. Thanks for the review
That fighting frog is the real deal, was surprised its been on the market for over 10 years
Debo what is your favorite the z man jackhamer chatterbait or the berkly slobbernoker
Hey Debo. What grease did you use on your tatula elite, mine is. Like yours dry.
What trailer were you using on that slobberknocker?? Also, what size slobberknocker were you using, 1/2 or 3/8?!
I live in Southeast Ohio and the bass love green pumpkin purple and black and purple, don't know why but they love those two colors but purple is a must on any of my lures. I would love to know how bass see the color purple
I will be trying the slobberknocker
Nick Smith aka the informative fisherman actually owns stix rods, his rods are pretty good.
I noticed you got 1/2 oz. Is that preferable for bank fishing?
That purple 💜😍
What weight slobberknocker is this. And also what weight do y’all typically buy on average more 3/8 or more 1/2 oz ? In either the slob or Jack ?
Wasn’t the slobber knocker already out B4??

@@theangleraquarist can you use it for saltwater like the curado?
@@dylana.601 yep!! It can cast lighter and heavier baits than the curado as well. It’s far more versatile
Has anyone ever used the cheaper bladed Jigs from Amazon like the Trusend I think? It’s a 3 or 5 pack for like 10 or 12 bucks.
cool video! Love ing the content!
How does it compare to a jack hammer

My blade is now chrome on my bl
Not a chatterbait guy, but looks good man.
Great video ++
Sounded a little like the Bill Dance theme
DO a vid taking apart and oiling that reel and I will give u a thumb up
Not a fan. I love bladed jigs and try every one I can. It does catch fish, but it's hard to beat a jackhammer or thunder cricket
all of the skirts on the new berkley jigs are too thin
I’ve fished a bladed jig for hours and hours and hours and have never caught a fish on a bladed jig. I’m about to throw all of mine in the garbage
Durability in question. That bait looks lightweight beat tf up after only one day of fishing. 🤔 idk.
I honestly wasn't impressed with mine. Still take my chatterbait jackhammer or mini.
It appears to be a fish catching machine..

Why do they change the name and who would call it a slobberknocker it is a chatter bait, well good job
Also... I had a girlfriend in high school that I called... nevermind, a story for another day!
Vegemiquatictation 🤣
