@@smugdarkly I don't think so, that champion believe ken is mid tier character. Pros are not god, they are human, they can commit error too. When real world data are quite different with pros tier list, there may be something wrong. Players trust tier list of pros more than anything, I wonder why do human beings who have received modern education still have such a high obedience to the so-called authority even when the information is open and transparent

They're still better than the 99 percent of the humans in that said game, obviously their tier lists are way more accurate than your own random opinion. And if we consider most of the pros agree with each other on characters being a S tier, this is straight up true.

What I have noticed is that Ryu is the only character whose abilities are not maximized. How often do players use level 1 with the denjin charge? I don't see it often because why would you when you can save it for level 2 denjin and then combo after. Only to end with regular level one as the finisher (scenario is if you built up to level 3) or you just go for the level 3. Sacrificing oki for one turn, in my opinion, is not enough for this game when you have characters like Menon, Juri, or Honda.
He needs to get a speed buff and a change on his generic fb where light gives an ultra slow fb, med is his regular speed fb and strong as his very fast fb. Ken is a better fb thrower at this juncture due to his faster frames.
Ken can start his combo with 2LP, the damage is close to 2000, meterless, damage/corner ability/side switch ability of ken, all of them are better than luke(meterless 2LP combo of luke are totally no match with ken), a character which almost every pros consider strongest. Ken meterless combo can reach almost 3160 damage, almost same as luke(slightly better) It is very funny that everyone say luke damage is great, praise how awesome luke combo is, while complaining ken damage is low, what kind of logic?

What triggers him to do the lvl 3 super extender?
Your own remaining life bar. If your own life bar is yellow, any level 3s you fully connect with get a different animation and extra damage.

He does. He already hits like a truck I think making him slightly faster and he'll be top tier.
