Brilliant! The sweetest TU engine I've heard in a long time. The BX's performance and equipment levels were far higher than its rivals in the same price bracket when new. I think the base 14 and 14E were the only BX's to not get electric windows in the front. It's so nice to see that the single-stage Alpine White paint is still super-shiny on this one, most white or red examples went flat after just three years or so, especially to the bumpers and plastic bonnet. Those amazing wheel trims were also used on the earlier top-of-the-range 1.8 DTR Diesel Turbo version.
Loves driving hates garages was the slogan when these came out in the early 80s..And so angular compared to the space ship curves of the gsa it replaced.
Filofax T’Pau on jukebox, in the local wine bar on a Sunday evening, taken down in a red one of these but the GTI version, I couldn’t stand yuppies, but the BX was a nice place to be 😂
The best sofa on 4 wheels. Brilliant cars back in the day and have never forgotten them slowly rise then go psshhhh every 10 seconds
Thank you for your comment!
What an amazing find! And how wild this would look filling up at the petrol station.
Amazing!
Amazing cars - possibly one of the best ‘ordinary’ cars offered to the general public!

I’ve always liked the Citroen BXs, totally different from everything else.
They sure are!

The leader's series are grey metallic and have a specific decal
The original owner request the Leader Decal to be removed as written on the new vehicle order form!
