Nintendo keeps proving time and time again that its not the limitations of their hardware, its the lack of imagination and laziness of some developers that dont push or use the Switch to its limits. Take Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom as great examples.
I bought it because of high reviews and positive feedback. Went in and got into the combat.....the story.....and just felt Like I was playing a shiny action game. It just wasn't clicking or doing anything that fun or different for me. Ended up putting it down and picking up other games. Is it really that good? I don't know.....didn't beat it.....the graphics are nice and it has action....there is a story....just....doesn't feel like it is doing anything that is truly rewarding to a veteran gamer. Not bad just.....too much on looks and not enough reward?
@@clintwinkleman7514 Totally agree, I wouldn't come up front and say it's bad, it's just overrated. Graphics are nice, combat is really good but I can strongly debate that Astral plane is ultra boring, not creative and irritating and Detective part of the game they try to convince you that everybody is ok with that torture of a gameplay!!! Oh, and the extra weird totally silent protagonist? Damn, these alone are enough to drop a few points out of its review scores. These problems that some people choose to talent or pretend they do not affect them much, while they do.
@@mohammadabuqubu7079it is highly overrated. I keep saying it’s missing something. Definitely an average game tbh. I keep wondering if everyone saying how great it is, is just a bot. Definitely not worth full price imo.
Honestly it was a surprise to see my feelings on Astral Chain summed up so well 😂 nice to know this pirate is not the only one who did not feel the game was up to par. Never was a fan of the hole silent protagonist trope😩
