- Jordan has foiled an Iranian-led plot to send weapons into the country, according to a Reuters report. The report claims militants attempted to send weapons to a Muslim Brotherhood cell in Jordan, which has links to Hamas. The brotherhood are believed to carry out acts of sabotage in Jordan. Jordanian authorities have foiled several attempts to steal weapons, including claymore mines, C4 and SEMTEX explosives, Kalashnikov rifles, and 107mm Katyusha rockets.
