I agree as black people we need to DIVERSIFY OUR OCCUPATIONS. We need to branch out into fields such as TECH, FINACE, DEVELOPERS, MEDICINE etc. Im so proud of the sista here in CHICAGO. She is starting a RIDESHARE COMPANY launching this summer. Shes having a gofundme to launch it that I will be supporting. We need more people like this. yesssss. Lets DIVERSIFY AND COMPETE WITH THE BIG BOYS!!!
You will not be behind if you choose to not learn “tech” just stay aware do what you love. Trust me I work for the most prestigious investment firm in America. Guys DONT DO IT FOR MONEY DO IT FOR THE LOVE and freedom of life. Learn a skill where you do not have to answer to somewhere or ask someone for vacation or time off. Financial freedom is time freedom .

The whole work Cyrus has been doing has motivated me to teach and enlighten my Facebook audience about TECH roles. I regret to say that there is no one in my circle that's into TECH 😢. My data analysis journey is a dream come true.

@stormchaser419 we have 58 years in my data analysis classes. And he's doing okay. The community is there for anyone looking to make the necessary move. I can assure you that, when you take the first step, you will not regret it. Have fun with it .
Age is no barrier to transitioning into tech! Your experience brings valuable perspectives, and you can definitely make the switch with determination. Go for it - you've got this!
