Looks cool when u go over 6000 RPM , u can switch the loop function so the Numbers are brighter and all in the same size.
Thank you for that last bit, I've had 6WB before my X5 F15 M50D, but didnt know the light bars was shift light, kinda tought it was a REV limiter when engine is cold (when its not)

Hello. Do you know why is not showing in which speed you are in D drive. Only in sport mode and M mode.
Can i email you for some information regarding the cluster. I have a X4 F26 and looking to change the old style cluster I also have a HUD and ACC. I already know that the Satnav directions won't show on the HUD once you change it. How does the coding work and who does it. Hope youll reply great video by the way.
I am by no means a coding expert, I had a friend help me code it. I do know you have to add 6wb to your VO and then change like four parameters via coding. No idea if it would be the same for an X series or if your car is older than mine so there might be more things to code. Also, for my car, navi directions can be selected to be shown in the HUD OR in the guage cluster. I would reach out to bimmertech and see if your car is compatable. So do you have any problems with the cluster in combination with the HUD? Like is the navigation, road signs, music still being displayed in the hud? Or do you need to set up the display option with idrive?
Would be nice if you showed the navigation also.
I had no problems at all. Everything still showed up on the hud like it did before. Only difference was the navigation shows either through the hud or the gauge cluster. I no longer own the car as I am buying the xDrive M3.
I have 6WB on an F15 X5 and it looks slightly difterent than the F30
I'm looking to do this upgrade in the next few weeks, but I do have a question you might be able to answer. Is there any way to set the display type independent of the drive mode? I always drive in sport, but I like the look of the cluster in comfort mode.
Yes, you just turn off M mode in the settings and then the display will always look like it does in comfort.

No, you can do the opposite. You can drive in sport with the comfort look
Is there a way to change the language? I turned my car on it it just randomly changed the language to German, the I-drive system is still in English though.
I just picked up an F30 and this is one of the changes I’d like to make. My car doesn’t have adaptive cruise control or a HUD. I know this cluster can be obtained without those things but was wondering: what resources did you use to see how this is installed? Is retrofitting adaptive cruise control and HUD more difficult?
I basically just searched forums and saw how other people smarter than I did it. Yes, the adaptive cruise was significantly more difficult than the cluster. The cluster requires taking out two screws and replacing the cluster and then coding. I don't know about the hud since mine had it but I'm sure it's not easy as you would need an entire new dash and then all the parts for the hud.
@@nathanbarnes8625 the regular days can be cut for the hud and then the hud trim will cover any imperfections. You do need a new hud windshield tho. Crazy I just found out that was a thing
Yep I forgot about that. The glass is different for models with huds and more expensive
Do you have xHP transmission tune on your car whilst filming this video? It seems like you have the Gear Indicator in D mode. I've been wanting that all along but any ideas on how to get that coded in without xHP?

Im not sure about an executive package but this is an oem bmw gauge cluster that is an option from the factory for bmws.
Hello, does the 6WB show the media track info when scrolling through tracks when using CarPlay, eg when scrolling through songs on Spotify, my current cockpit with a small screen at the bottom does this currently, thank you 😊
Yes it will display the song name when you scroll through your music but then goes away after a few seconds if I remember correctly.
How do you have orange display on night time using comfort mode? I keep seeing them white on many videos. What did you do?
That's the way it comes configured from BMW I think some people code it to be white all the time. I like it changing to orange at night though.

Did you found a way to code the power display (horsepower) on the instrument cluster on sport mode?
Nope, from what I have read, it is not possible on the f30s.
The power display is on 6WB with the F15. Stock it goes as far as 320hp but with the MPPK tune it goes as far was 400hp on the xDrive35i model

I looked into the opposite to see if I could put an m3 gauge in my car and it wasn't possible so I assume the same goes for your question

That's a good question idk but my guess would be probably not.
I’m sure it will work you can code anything to work. But will it be an M cluster with 200mph/330kmh?? I don’t think so since there was no 6wb for m cars in the f series cars

I didn't have to enable anything it just worked when I installed the digital cluster
Does it lag when you first start the car? Because I think the older BMW f30 would lag because there older

The cluster costs around $1000 USD and then coding is around $200 if you don't know how to do it yourself.
How did you get your 6WB cluster coded ? Where did you go ?

I believe you have to code this to get the compass to display: 3003 FZG Ausstattung -> Kompass Graph Enable -> set to aktiv
You can accomplish this using Bimmercode expert mode. Once coded you have to click the BC button and that is what will actually turn on the compass display in the cluster.
For the speed limit info, your car has to be equipped with speed limit info and you have to turn the setting on in the idrive

If I remember right you just have to code it to get the eco pro mode to show up

No, somebody helped me code it but I believe bimmertech can code your car for it as well
Did you do this on a 330e? any issues?
I have a 340 so idk about a 330 but I have had no issues.
Idk if you ever figured it out but they are compatible with the 330e but you lose your hybrid information on the cluster
