Great ending to WNL season! Second place run for mature kids girls division at Ferox! 2024-04-14

This was a great way to end season 9 of WNL, a challenge competition at Ferox! After we picked up her friend and her family, we headed over to watch the kids division and saw them setting up for the mature kids. We were able to get some of the kids to test some strategies for us, and as competitors trickled in, I realized how many people we recognized and how many friends we had made over the past 7 months of traveling to competitions. It felt like we knew everyone there! To watch her run around with all her new ninja friends a great sight, and the course was probably the hardest one we have seen all season. Great course, with incredible competitors, who can ask for anything more? Meghan cleared the course, but our girl did a good job imitating her and was making good time, navigating the panda board much easier than I expected. Sadly the horizontal flywheels tripped her up. She wasted her retry when she accidentally touched the top of the flywheel, and then got stuck on the second flywheel when she went the wrong way and couldn't reach the last one to complete the course (of course, she was able to get through the flywheels in her first try in redemption!). But her speed meant she finished in second place! This was a great season for her and I think it sets her up for an incredible run through the regionals and finals! Lets go!!
