Yep & it only takes a moment.
That happened to my baby, Sammi, in 1985. She was a tea cup poodle & would never go anywhere near the pool, it terrified her. We'd let her out, she'd go potty in her spot which wasn't near the pool at all. So how she fell in is still a mystery. We wasted so much time looking for her bc we thought she escaped the fence again to go cow chasing. It didn't dawn on us to even check the pool bc of her fear of it.
Our outcome was the worse case scenario.😔
I still feel terrible & always will.
      Have a blessed weekend. Peace🕊️😘

You see when the temperature is around 5-10-15 degrees Celsius. The whites have no problem with jumping into water. they even wear sleeveless while walking around.
Whereas, the black skin isn't used to the cold weather that much.
And if you see the other way, whites will have major problems surviving high summer temperatures like 45degrees celcious+
But still there is a way to discuss things, those group of blacks were not gentle enough, maybe..

No way, she didn't feel it. Frozen water over most of your body & cold air are instantly painful, extremely painful, even with adrenaline.
It is instant total body shock to where it's hard to breath. Slows breathing & motor control. You're body doesn't kind of get used to it like with chilly/cold water. Frozen is a whole other beast, the pain is intense.
The adrenaline helped her be able to go back in & push thru her rapidly stiffening limbs, but it hurt the whole time.
And it would have hurt after, hard to get warm, knives stabbing feeling. And I assume she delayed warming herself or even taking off her freezing clothes (keeping her cold) until after she resuscitated the dog.
Most ppl would have hit that water once if at all, then gone & looked for a tool like a rake to try to use, good chance dog would have been dead by then.

I don`t have children, but I had a dog. It died of cancer. I loved it. I went with my dog to the vet alive and came back with it dead in a sack. My heart was struck with great sadness. If anyone bothered to read the article. The pool isn’t empty because they keep it open all year but it so happens that the pump was broken because of the storm so the pool froze over and the dogs likely know how to swim but weren’t expecting the cold given that it’s normally not frozen over. Maybe read before you judge someone. 😌😌 that is what is wrong with society now.

The BLM comment came from the all lives matter and if you haven't been paying attention the past I don't know couple of years especially after George Floyd then I don't know what to say. I can't defend people who break the law but we shouldn't be able to tolerate officers who break the law and violate our constitutional rights. So any opportunity we can talk about race relations Is a Good Thing unless you condone and officer shooting an unarmed black man for no reason especially when he's done nothing wrong.
