I got the TRN BT20XS a few weeks ago and I can say they are so worth it. They seamlessly switch either of the buds without reconnecting, put the other bud on the case, it still works. The other plus is, the connector is replaceable. So when it breaks, I can easily replace them. I haven't have any connection issues yet with them unlike my Soundpeats Truengine3 SE that disconnects on a lot of times. I use them with my KZ x HBB PR2, and my QKZ x HBB Khan.

Thanks for chiming in Alex! Hey! I’ve been using TRN bt20xs with my blon-03 for a couple of days and so far there are no problems. I haven’t had problems with charging too. I have small ears and uses glasses with hooks and I don’t find them bulky. I’m not an audiophile tho, just a casual listener so I’m not sure if it affects the sound.
Good video, useful for sure. I'll throw something in as well. Recently recieved a TRN ST7 set and am thouroughly enjoying them. They are my first iem but i am no stranger to good sound. At first only used them wired, as i waited for the AZ09 PRO to be delivered. When they came i was happy to try them out, and now i am happy to have them.. ..BUT, at first listen, i did notice a difference. Nothing to complain about as they fill their use case. For sure now though, i will only use them for exercise duty. They sound good, but not as good as wired, that was evident at first listen. I didn't know what exactly it was, but it was something.. i just kept using them nonetheless because of convenience. After some back to back listening though, i hear it.. better soundstage and more clarity with the wired setup. Everything just sounds crisper and more detailed, even with Spotify at 'high' detail. So yeah, the AZ09 PRO works great and sounds pretty darn good, but the difference IS there. Wired for everything but exercise 💪💪
I have this in a month, but the right earpiece is no longer pairing on the left. I did anything I need to do but still won’t pair to each other. I like the sound quality but the module itself is disappointing.
I bought the moondrop alice when you released the review for it and also a v shaped tuned jabra elite 7 pro, I think i made the right choice for both indoor and outdoor use cases.
Thanks for sharing! I love my CRA+, so I couldn't find a way out and got the AZ15. This could be the very future of IEM now that audio jacks are disappearing, and in general because modularity rocks. I like this setup in every aspect, except the static noise when you listen to quiet things like audiobooks. I guess this is no thanks to the low Ohm compared to the plain CRA and KZ pros. Did anyone else notice such static noise? Edit: I traded the CRA+ for KZ ZVX and Kiwi Dolce to try out. Both of them do not have static noise and they overall sound better. Though I'm not sure ZVX was designed for AZ15 in mind, they weren't kidding with metal and it gets weighty. Not saying it's a dealbreaker.
I want iems for gaming but want them wireless. Is this good for gaming? What’s the latency like? Also I have an audio interface called goxlr and can I connect them wirelessly to the interface? Thank you
I have UTWS 3 and 5 on my shelf, and both of them aren't exactly great. Why? They're still janky as hell. Due to the nature of these things, ANC is definitely a no-go (since you can't place a microphone inside the earbud's shell), transparency mode can be really harsh depending on what you plugged in, and for UTWS especially, the app is super jank, it often loses battery out of nowhere, etc. And not only that, since this thing are rather small and portable, there's also other trade-off you'll make, one of them is power. I have a raptgo hook x (planar set), and UTWS 3 just fell flat on it's face when it's connected to that. UTWS 5 can power it, but at that point, it's already a wildly expensive set to look at. Seeing Fiio's UTWS is basically the leader in this TWS conversion market, I can't imagine KZ or anyone else faring any better.
Thanks for sharing your experience man! I didn’t know the FiiO adapters got ANC/transparency, but considering the price they might put that on although like you said, there’s only so much you can put in an adapter and the end result won’t ever be close to what we get in the TWS market And we all know power will be a limitation, until like the UTWS5 that’s got a dedicated Cirrus amp (looks like the UTWS3 amp isn’t kicking it either haha) but at that point the adapter itself could buy a perfectly great TWS 😂 I still argue there is a sweet spot here though, with a decent adapter + a basic IEM would give the most value, and that’s what I wanted to find moving forward 😁
Nope they can at least add support for lower level anc with feed forward microphone, they can also add support for transparency mode. There are android app that would allow you to use the phone for getting transparency mode using the iem microphone or device microphone. Moondrop space travel has transparency mode without feed forward microphone. They just don't bother adding those, those bt adapter just focused on adding BT support that's it, not because they can't.
My 2c, I owned UTWS3s which developed issues with dropping out / poor stability. Sounded good when they worked. I bought them over the other adapters of the time (incl the non pro AZ09). After the issues (stability, portability) I then bought the AZ09 pros which have been pretty flawless for 18 months or longer. Not as good sounding (but not far off) as the Fiio's, and nowhere near as powerful, but much more comfortable and for being less than half the price I really rate them highly.
what i noticed on az09 non pro the manual it came with is misleading.. it says to turn ON the 2 ear hooks the control button must press together in 3 seconds and turn Off must press in 6 seconds..i found out that main control is the left earhook 1st when turning ON press 3 second then 2nd press 3 seconds on the right..the procedure is the same when turning OFF...so the main was always the LEft ear hook..if you follow the manual youll have the problem on the unit in the future like issue: the left ear hook just suddenly turn off it self and flashing blue lit occured which is annoying coz youll have to return it on the cabin for resetting. Since i used the power ON/OFF on the Left first i never have an issue. I almost return my unit coz of the issue before by following the misleading manual..i hope this would help
Try rotating the IEM in hour ear forward (anti clockwise looking at your ear feom the outside) until the bluetooth modul gets stuck between the top of your ear and the side of your head. That way it’s not moving anywhere, even with softer silicone earhooks.
Good video and interesting solution, there is another way that I saw in Ali.. is a Bluetooth cable Qcc5171/Qcc5125 comes with all Aptx and Ldac codecs, it would be nice to try it and see its quality. I also saw some new tws to see the Iqoo tws 1(vivo tws 3) or the Pro version which comes with the latest Qualcomm chips. Keep making videos of these and Greetings from Peru.
Today, in my opinion and if I were on a tight budget of US$50, I would go for the CCA BTX w/ the Castor-Improved. Incredible sound quality at this price point. The BTX is a snugger fit and should be better for smaller ears as well as a more sportive/active use case. Same chipset as the AZ09 Pro. I would avoid the AZ10...it's geared for low latency gaming but lacks the codec support of the AZ09 Pro and BTX. In any event, the later also offer low latency mode (3 successive clicks to right earhook). The AZ15 and AZ20 are definite chipset upgrades, but I have been pleased with the AptX/SBC/AAC support with the BTX & AZ09 Pro; which sometimes go on sale below $30!
Just out of curiosity, have you tried this with a DAP? I currently have the Kefine Delci which i adore and just got the hiby r4. Wondering if you think this adapter is worth getting in the sense that you don't lose quality for the sake of being wireless when its a pain to have a wired connection?
Hi, I was wondering if you could please recommend one of the 3 models you mentioned and help me choose the connector type? I have a 7Hz Zero 2 and was looking for one of these adapters around $40 or less.

Is there any wireless adapter with volume control on market?? 🤔
This is the first time I want to buy an IEM, the main use is FPS games (enemy steps) on PC and music occasionally. Recommend zs10 pro or zs10 prox, please answer bro for this doubt 🙏
Under $100 for now soundcore liberty 4 NC although you may find it in sale on some occasion in future. Under $200 sony linkbuds s, OnePlus buds pro 2, nothing ear 2 etc. Don't know when soundcore will launch liberty 4 pro but it's been 2 years and recently liberty 3 pro is on sale so I guess they may launch this year around August-september but that's just my assumption based on previous release cycle. It may cost around $200 at launch I guess
I love this! I have the AZ09 Pro which I believe are better than those. It has gaming mode “high performance mode” and high power mode which boosts the bass and treble frequency. Highly recommend!
Happy to hear that! I don’t see both high performance and full power mode in the description tho for AZ09 Pro, but they do have that? Honestly at this point I think they’re just different designs KZ sold (like their IEMs? Haha) I just wanted to try out AZ15 as their latest one Not sure about stabiltiy and other stuff about AZ09 Pro, cause I’ve seen people complaining, but with AZ15 they’re pretty solid
I second this, using the pro almost 2 yrs now..best investment imho. I use the normal mode only is enough for me with kz zas. Battery life about 8+-hrs..volume max 40% usually about 30% only enough for me riding my motorcycle around( i don't ride fast to reduce wind noise)
I've trn bt20 and it isn't great although works for outside walk. I use an android app to add transparency mode but latency is too much due to processing is doing in phone and then again sent back the audio. I guess with gaming mode support on new kz adapters it will be less issue as latency will be reduced slightly.
Haha I think some of the higher end ones do, but it is not a good idea to be honest because every IEM has different driver and sound characteristics, and ANC on the other hand needs to actually country the noise with a specific anti-noise frequency, and that’s hard to do with these mix and matching IEMs
@@trever7580 If I need to hear something, I take one IEM out of my ear and let it hang on the earhook. It's not an earbud! I prefer IEM's that have good seal and good sound isolation.
I'm using with trn bt20 but it's not C pin so kinda lossy situation lol. Although audio is good, but I don't like extra bass because waner itself is slightly bassy and those tws adapter may add slightly more bass making the experience worse. I'm currently using wavelet with crinacle red EQ to lower the bass.
Thanks for helping me reply! Speaking of which I don't know why I forgot the Tangzu Wan'er, really should've included it in this video but eh, I'll check it out next time!
Thanks for your video! I was wondering if you could help me, I recently got the KBear Storm and am looking for an affordable adapter. I'm thinking between the KZ ZS10 pro for €45 on amazon (do I choose the b-pin or c-pin for my iems?) or TRN BT20XS for €20 on Ali (huuge price difference), what do you recommend?
If you have small ears...the CCA BTX. For larger ears and a more pliable/softer earhook...the AZ09 Pro's. Both offer LOW-LATENCY mode (3 successive clicks to the right earhook). Both use the same chipset and functionalities. I find both are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The AZ09Pro often goes on sale just below US$30 on AliEx. In my opinion.
The kz az09 pro is way better than the new kz az10 & az15. Was hoping upgraded version from the az09 pro.... After a few reviews of this newer ones, i'll pass & stays with the current set up az09 pro, kz zas & spinfit cp100v2 eartips. Along with soundpeats h1 also using spinfit cp100 depends on situation.
@@wassup5793 because the batt can last till 8hrs for me, usually using at 40% vol as it is quite loud in just normal mode. Plus i prefer the hook better, it is quite firm & doesn't wiggle like the az10 & az15. Connection so far ok, no issues for me & i like it is all black without the colour green or gold on those two later version. Basically performance wise it the same i guess. Those wiggly hooks looks annoying especially using them for workouts
CCA CRA + KZ aptx Plus, there's my setup for almost 3 years. mau nyobain dan beli TWS, lagi tahap pencarian. pengen tau gimana rasanya dan suaranya, tapi kayanya ko agak susah ya. bingung, bantuin dong.

First comment? Loved this video as always. Btw thinking of upgrading to soundpeats capsule 3 pro from Haylou W1 soon.. haylou w1 has been serving me great so far
Thanks for coming so early! I’m so glad you enjoyed your time with W1, well honestly if you’d like to wait I’ll be reviewing the Engine4 soon, and if sound quality is your priority it is a really amazing pair But if you like bass and want ANC/transparency then the Capsule3 Pro is pretty decent too
I use AAC on iPhone but as I always said in my videos, I can’t tell the 5% sound quality difference, I do appreciate the auto low latency feature though (but battery usage is also up) And I got an android to test that 👍🏻
To help others, I don't recommend others buying this. I bought this january 2024 and issues on the right hook came after 2 months of usage. I raised this issue to the store and changed the right ear hook yet it still has issues. Better look for a better bluetooth adapter. But not KZ AZ15!!!
To be completely honest with you, I probably need to try out more budget DACs but from my experience (I’ve used Shanling UA1 & Audirect Atom Mini) and I really couldn’t find a significant difference like I would say with a balanced FiiO BTR5 or iFi Hip Dac 2 Which brings me to the case that, maybe your current included dongle (apple dongle is pretty good) is enough 😆 but again this is something that I’ll keep on exploring in the future
I'll probably try them out next month! Got a lot of things planned already this month, but still I'll try to pack the video with tons of value as always with comparisons and everything so stay tuned!
Man I would love to review them no kidding, but unfortunately they're just not available to buy in my country, and well I guess I can try reaching out to them, but we'll have to wait and see
Interesting, any eartips recommendation you have in mind? Cause I'm already using the biggest one provided in the box, I think it has more to do with the material then?
SpinFits. The W1 are my "go-to" choice. The exact size is obviously a case of individual user prefference, but good tips that seal within the ear properly are a must. Most stock tips are.... adequate, but not exceptional.
KZ Aptx HD is better than those. It can easily power planars and it's below 20usd. I pair that with my dioko. Other alternative is TRN BT20XS (lesser power) which I pair with my Simgot EA500.
Android (SGS10+) in DEV mode to reveal LDAC codec support for playing FLAC files....with BTR5 + cable + IEM. Else, for near lossless go with the KZ AZ20 (for AptX HD support), provided your newer Android phone supports AptX HD.
your review only confirms what i've experienced with these. they feel very loose, too much to my taste (first time trying wireless adapters). also, it might be a defect to the specific one i received but the button of the right bud was loose and constantly giggles and makes noise. hard turn off for me. a return it will be unfortunately :/
@@jebaited2449 I don't personally have it but most other tech reviewers. If not all the other tech reviewers have said how terrible the moon drop Alice is
My experience with the AZ15 has been smooth without any connection loss. Not digging the gold plated but what matters was the function. About the loose fit, different ears different fit although changing to foam tips do kinda help with the iem buds being fit snug into the ear canal, i was headbanging and it didn't drop.
It seem soundcore wanna launch their newest liberty 4 series, cause liberty 3 pro has been discount to around 70dolar ( 999.000 rupiah) wich a steal that i just bought without a second though 😂
Spending 4 times more to nueter the sound quality of an already poor sounding cheap IEM so people can walk to the kitchen or toilet without pausing their poor sounding music. What a genius move!!! I have a great recommendation if great sound quality is the goal. Spend $1,500 for a set of high end IEM, then spend $40 for one of these or $200 for a fiio BRT7. Now youll get wireless sound quality that no wireless IEM from apple can match.
I was always curious about wireless conversions....thanks for in dept video🤍 **For recommendation : KZ D-Fi is a single DD Tunable IEM that costs $30 !!** Tunable IEMs are a lot of fun..check them out...
I'm so glad that I'm finally able to cover the topic! Again thanks to the good people at Linsoul haha (don't worry this is not sponsored) And for the recommendation, I'll try to check them out! Always down for some fun in these audiophile world haha

@@in9535 how's the battery life?
I want to see a band style adapter with ear hooks like we used to have on headphones back in the day.
Agreed, IMO they're just better in almost every way
There's the KZ Aptx
Pardon me but can you please measure the diameter of the nozzle filters of CCA CRA and Kiwi Ears Dolce. Is it 4mm or is it wider?
4mm
I bought the moondrop alice when you released the review for it and also a v shaped tuned jabra elite 7 pro, I think i made the right choice for both indoor and outdoor use cases.
Ah yeah that's for sure! Man I would love to check out Jabra's one day haha they're really good from my impression in store
Thank you
Latency is like Bluetooth earbuds bcoz, surprise surprise it's Bluetooth. Get the wire
When your outside is the mic used the telephone? If so take it out of your pocket to improve the sound quality.
I didn’t know the FiiO adapters got ANC/transparency, but considering the price they might put that on although like you said, there’s only so much you can put in an adapter and the end result won’t ever be close to what we get in the TWS market
And we all know power will be a limitation, until like the UTWS5 that’s got a dedicated Cirrus amp (looks like the UTWS3 amp isn’t kicking it either haha) but at that point the adapter itself could buy a perfectly great TWS 😂
I still argue there is a sweet spot here though, with a decent adapter + a basic IEM would give the most value, and that’s what I wanted to find moving forward 😁
I have one and now the left one is damaged, the lights don't turn on, the buttons don't work 😢
I was just going to ask if anyone's had their left side die like the button works for mine but no sound. On reddit it seemed like a known issue
@@darkestsummer2 reset , by pressing both buttons simultaneously on the charger
what i noticed on az09 non pro the manual it came with is misleading.. it says to turn ON the 2 ear hooks the control button must press together in 3 seconds and turn Off must press in 6 seconds..i found out that main control is the left earhook 1st when turning ON press 3 second then 2nd press 3 seconds on the right..the procedure is the same when turning OFF...so the main was always the LEft ear hook..if you follow the manual youll have the problem on the unit in the future like issue: the left ear hook just suddenly turn off it self and flashing blue lit occured which is annoying coz youll have to return it on the cabin for resetting. Since i used the power ON/OFF on the Left first i never have an issue. I almost return my unit coz of the issue before by following the misleading manual..i hope this would help
In your opinion, how does the sound quality of the KZ ZS10 Pro X compare to the SoundPeats Engine 4?
Hi i just want to ask what adapter not has better kic quality
How many hours does the battery end?
I have the Moon Drop Kato what bluetooth adapter cable or ear connectors do you recommend for ppl who like to listen to music AND audio dramas?
What should I plug my IEMS into? The frustrating part is that my cord is so short that its hard to plug straight into my motherboard.
Hm? It's a 3.5mm headphone jack no? Or we're talking about these bluetooth adapters? Which is going to be paired via bluetooth
idk man i just got here@@namedkenn
They do have converters on Amazon to change these over to mcx
I'm a newbie and bought KZ ZEX and now trying to explore other better things or what to switch to
At this price point? Then the Castor (improved bass).
Just out of curiosity, have you tried this with a DAP? I currently have the Kefine Delci which i adore and just got the hiby r4. Wondering if you think this adapter is worth getting in the sense that you don't lose quality for the sake of being wireless when its a pain to have a wired connection?
thanks for the review.. i was wondering whether the KZ AE01 will be fine too for the left and right channel switch
I bought it and was surprised that there was no volume control here 😂
I got the 10 pros Bluetooth recently
Hi, I was wondering if you could please recommend one of the 3 models you mentioned and help me choose the connector type?
I have a 7Hz Zero 2 and was looking for one of these adapters around $40 or less.
Is there any wireless adapter with volume control on market?? 🤔

Under 100$ best 01
Under 200$ best 02

Under $100 for now soundcore liberty 4 NC although you may find it in sale on some occasion in future.
Under $200 sony linkbuds s, OnePlus buds pro 2, nothing ear 2 etc.

Can this work with the truthear x crinacle zero?
I love this! I have the AZ09 Pro which I believe are better than those. It has gaming mode “high performance mode” and high power mode which boosts the bass and treble frequency. Highly recommend!
Happy to hear that! I don’t see both high performance and full power mode in the description tho for AZ09 Pro, but they do have that?
Honestly at this point I think they’re just different designs KZ sold (like their IEMs? Haha) I just wanted to try out AZ15 as their latest one
Not sure about stabiltiy and other stuff about AZ09 Pro, cause I’ve seen people complaining, but with AZ15 they’re pretty solid
@@namedkennkz az 09 hasld multiple issues and pro has removed all those issues so yes az15 is just same az 09 pro with gold color.

Would these adapters work with some older IEMs? I'm thinking some kz zsa
As long as they’re QDC collectors yes they will
Or just need to match the connectors really
Someone needs to make TWS adapter with ANC capability and profiles to work with all the popular CHIFI earbuds.
Haha I think some of the higher end ones do, but it is not a good idea to be honest because every IEM has different driver and sound characteristics, and ANC on the other hand needs to actually country the noise with a specific anti-noise frequency, and that’s hard to do with these mix and matching IEMs
i use KZ ZS10 Pro X with AZ09 pro all day at work, worth every cent, if they get lost or stolen can be replced without breaking the bank

Tangzu Wan'er are C Pin, so yeah, it depend's only in the adapter.
I'm using with trn bt20 but it's not C pin so kinda lossy situation lol. Im thinking of getting the KZ ZS10 Pro 2 and Im wondering if you have any recommendation for a wireless module for gaming?
If you have small ears...the CCA BTX. For larger ears and a more pliable/softer earhook...the AZ09 Pro's. Both offer LOW-LATENCY mode (3 successive clicks to the right earhook). Both use the same chipset and functionalities. I find both are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The AZ09Pro often goes on sale just below US$30 on AliEx. In my opinion.

As long as you buy the 2-pin connector they will, but if the adapters can dish out KATO's potential that I can't be sure
Do you know any good budget DAC / USB C to 3.5 mm jack?
To be completely honest with you, I probably need to try out more budget DACs but from my experience (I’ve used Shanling UA1 & Audirect Atom Mini) and I really couldn’t find a significant difference like I would say with a balanced FiiO BTR5 or iFi Hip Dac 2

IF the buds are coming off using KZ hooks (I have AZ09pros) then you're using the wrong tips for the IEM's.
