@@a1driver982 at 0:50 when the batter hits himself the announcer is about to say something about it before he is cutoff. My question is if this happens and the ball rolls into play is it fair or supposed to be called an automatic foul?
@@robertross7666 I see what you mean. When the ball was hit, the angle made it look like it was going foul but because it hit him and went straight, it was called fair. He didn't kick it fair, it bounced off of him and went fair.
The ball is foul after it hits the batter while he is in the batter's box. If he hit it and it hit him while he's outside of the battery's box he would be out. And if he gets a hit while outside of the box he is out.

That play at 6:40 where the pitcher throws his glove to the firstbaseman. The runner was actually safe. First base man didnt have the ball in his glove, and didnt have the glove on that the ball was in. If a fielder loses his glove and the ball is in it, its not an out.
And the play where the runner loses his shoe, he was safe.
the ball doesn't have to be in your glove, you can barehand it, you can catch it between your legs, if you are in control of the ball, they are out
and even if that was the case, he dropped his glove to catch the pitchers glove, so thats the only glove he is holding, you are wrong on many levels here

@@BP7BlackPearl first off, he is in control of the glove like you said, but the glove is holding the ball, therefore he is in control of the ball, and even if that was the case, this exact scenario has happened a number of times, and every single time the runner was called out. i don't think you know more than a professional umpire who does this in the MLB for a living
also, since when do you have to be wearing the glove for it to be counted as an out?
