i lost my dad about a year before micheal died, i was 10 when MJ died. I remember watching this live and finally seeing a little girl that could relate and know exactly what i had been through. since then, this clip, this moment, has stayed with me in knowing i have never been alone through this pain and never will be. My heart will always go out to these kids.

When Michael had died in 2009, that's when I started listening to his music. I was 6 years old at the time and I didn't know he had died. So when I got a little older and researched him, I broke down into tears because I didn't know after all of those years he was dead the whole time.

I cried buckets on this day. So many years ago. I conveniently had the day off work, and just sat on my couch with a box of kleenex watching this on TV. Have never been so sad over the death of a celebrity. MJ was a huge chunk of all of our childhoods and life memories.

2009 was a weird year for me. I was about 7 years old, my grandmother passed in Jan 2009 and Michael Jackson in June 2009 I believe. Was a sad year. Everytime I think about these 2, the memories come back and it makes me want to go back. Because back then times were great for me, music was the best. It's sad that I won't be seeing my grandmother again. Can't believe it's now 2022..

When Michael had died in 2009, that's when I started listening to his music. I was 6 years old at the time and I didn't know he had died. So when I got a little older and researched him, I broke down into tears because I didn't know after all of those years he was dead the whole time.
