FINALLY! I've waited 51 year...FIFTY ONE YEARS to see this movie again!! I saw it as a kid but couldn't recall the title. It kept with me all these years.
Me as well
Watched it again myself after the 51 year wait. The final scene is still shocking.
omg same here
I know how you feel. I saw an episode of "Ghost Story" when I was 3. It put a haunting image of a ghost-in-shroud in my head ever since, and I didn't know where it came from. Finally found it thanks to a video reviewing the first season of the show.
This show and cast rule! I and my family love Tangela ❤
I only recently discovered Creature Features, and this will be my first time joining the crowd live for tonight"s presentation.
I'm really looking forward to this~!
It's fun I watch the chat as much as the movie, people in the chat are really funny.
It's great fun.......the chat is full of us creatures!!
Welcome
Welcome Midnightkitty. A mouse 🐁 and a kitty 🐈 enjoying the night watching Creature Features. 😁🐭
Great Movie! Thank you 😊
This movie scared the hell out of me when I saw it back in the 70's. I was about 10 years old.
Did you scream?
@@seacampeon8729 I didn't scream but I could not sleep well for several nights.
Me too!
Me too
This movie scared me when I was 12 years of age.
Thank you Vincent,Tangella, and Livingston for this wonderful old film!!A true classic with classic actors from the good old days!!!!!!!😊!!
Yes, they have shown it before but worth seeing again. Interesting to see some Hollywood icons in the cast.
Great to see that couple again and another great movie!
You hit a home run with this one.Let's start a winning streak.
I've had friends that say this movie is great. If it isn't, all of you in the chat along with Miss Tangella and Grimm Life will make it so. Be there Saturday!
I subscribe to Grimm life on TH-cam and I love them. I will be watching this Friday night.
Congratulations on your 300 episode Creature Feature 🎉❤
I love the Grimm Life channel! Great episode!
The scene where she's digging the dirt gave me goosebumps
Ahhhhhhhhh...... Olivia, The Beautiful Grande Lady.... probably my favourite Actress of good olde Hollywood.
So my father was watching this when I was a little boy- when the woman dug, I was so scared and covered my eyes.. For over 40 years I carried only the audio in my head! Thank you so much for helping me to get the whole thing now!
Finally got back around to watching this one. I love Grimm Life Michael and Jessica. So great to see them here. 2 of my favorite channels! 😎
My relatives have the oldest funeral home in texas met me once ...in some graveyard or dark closet...😮
*Hey Creature Features brilliant to see GRIMM on here, Grimm, so good to see you on here and spreading out like a good Ghoul should, Michael being so funny this time staring into the camera like he's never been on the other side before, Jessica, stunning as always. Reminded me of that movie The Burbs, with that face of Michaels (side smirk) Love LOVED IT!*
Excellent movie! Thank you Creature Features for this fantastic movie.
I just had a childhood flashback. I actually remember the night it premiered on TV. I was probably 10 years old. A friend and I happened to be in the room when it came on. We watched the opening scene and then laughed and made fun of the title "Screaming woman runs away, The farting woman HA HA" and left the room.
That all just came flooding back to me in this weird flash.
wow
True nightmare. Noone believing u. She needs to hire landscapers.
Good to see Olivia De Havilland and Joseph cotten together again... Hope someday you could show,. Hush hush sweet Charlotte... Thank you for good movie's... 😅. 🍿. 👍👍
Creature Features, That was a Screaming 300th. Grimm Life C. + Vincent = fun times. Thank you Creature Features.
Thanks again for showing the credits in a readable speed. So I always watch you guys to the very end. Much appreciated.
At the beginning that lady would have had a heart attack trying to run that far
Hello Creature Features fans and moderators. I missed last night and late tonight real life calls. Hello Creature Features production crew, Vincent, Mr. Livingston, and Tangella.
In 2007 Ed Nelson made a comment about this movie on IMDB:
Working with this wonderful performer was a great thrill for me. She was like and beginner with great joy and loved every suggestion I made and wanted to rehearse over and over again. I was shocked somewhat because few Oscar winners seem to want to do that with and "unknown" which I kind of was in those days. When waiting around we talked once about Errol Flynn who I think did 8 pictures with her, back in the Warner Bros, days. She said all the bad press he got on being Pro Nazi and other things, was to quote Her. "was ridicules, and believe me I knew him better then anyone." Joe Cotton, all the way back with Wells in "Citizen Kane," was a regular guy, and was the star of the first film I did, still in New Orleans, It was entitled "The Steel Trap" with the wonderful Teresa Wright. I was an extra and scared to death standing next to him in a big scene. The title of this ABC TV movie was something else and they changed it after we started shooting. Olivia really hated the title saying, "All the audience will see is my face screaming from this title."
I wrote this because you all liked the picture so much. Thanks Ed Nelson
This is a great oldie!
I am loving this one so well forgot about it thanks for reminding it I love it
Hey alright! One of the better made for TV horror themed/thrillers from early in 1972. Based off a short story written by Ray Bradbury, Should be fun. See ya then!✌👌👋☝👍👊🤘🤟💯
This being the '70s one should've been 4 : 3 not 16 : 9 ratio, though. They had quite a few good horror movies on TV back then, unlike today horror just isn't being made for television anymore as far as movies are concerned. A couple of good ones off the bat, A Cold Night's Death (1973) and Night Terror (1977).
@@LarryFleetwood8675 Yes indeed those two are pretty good....good picks!
Thanks for having the Grimm Life Collective on your program. I've been watching their program for years. I've only recently discovered your show and it's a delight. Great stuff!
Thank you for choosing this movie it has the best line up of a cast that I have seen in a long time!!! Good job Creature Features!!!
I saw this movie on TV on a Saturday night while my parents were out. It scared me to death. Can't remember how it ends so I'm enjoying seeing it again. Thanks.
The ending was scary
I watched it on TV during the Christmas holidays with my sisters and cousins. I think it was on a black and white TV. The shots of the woman buried underground scared the living daylights out of us; I don't think any of us were prepared for that. And the ending scene when she digs the woman up and pulls her out of the ground was terrifying too. Needless to see none of us slept well that night, and all our parents probably regretted letting us watch it. I remember trying to go to sleep, struggling to get the horrible image of the woman underground out of my head! I never forgot it, in fact. And just the horrible thought of hearing someone buried alive call out for help; that freaked us out too.
Based on the Bradbury story....DeHavilland and Cotton...Let the screaming begin!
It was nice to see Jessica and Michael back on the show and love to meet yous when you come to Scotland can't wait and enjoyd the screaming woman i havent seen it befor it was good movie Happy Halloween 🎃🕷🕸🦇
Great stuff CF !!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love Tangella! She's so cute!
Luuuuv dis Story specially wiv dis Classy Gal 💞😁🙏🏻🕊🇬🇧
I was too young to stay up and watch this movie back then, I was only 5 if I watch this back then I probably would have been freaked out like the kid in the movie,
This movie gave me so much anxiety I had to skip big parts of it. I watched all the host segments though. ✌️💛
I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and I have been missing your show on KOFY TV20. Was flipping through channels today and found your show on CreatV channel 30.
I was intrigued by the music with strong influences of Bela Bartok. I was happy to see that this was an early John Williams score.
Subscribed! I sure miss Creature Features! I started watching in 1977. Bob Wilkins sure had some good old gems on his show! I wasn't allowed to watch horror movies, or movies at all as a kid. So it was a great way to catch up!
The ending of this movie is as suspenseful as it gets. Worth the 2 hour wait. I was 10 when this was 1st released and i could have used therapy when the grand finale played out.
Love you Tangella 🖤
Very tense movie. Who will help when many dont believe ?
Remember this movie. I think it was made for. Tv. Scared me to death 😊😊
Yaay love all of you! Grimm life I'm obsessed 😍
I just started watching and I must admit I was nervous for Olivia de Havilland doing all that running and screaming ... I was on pins and needles hoping she wouldn`t pass out .
Love this . Awesome movie and Grimm Collective
Fun fact: Howard is actually a Thunderbirds puppet .
You can TELL! 😅
Happy 500th Episode 👻☠️🙀😀😂🤣😅👹🎃😈🤡👺👿👽🥸💥💥💥💥💥🤸🌠
Great movie! Excellent channel concept! I'm a big fan of the grimmlife collective! ❤ Ozzy would make a great guest on your show!
Good movie
You don't need a Hollywood movie for a screaming woman.🤣🤣🤣
According to sources close to the situation, Tangella Productions is filming a new full length feature show called "The Screaming Handrew" starring Handrew, Tangella, Vince, Mister Livingston and Agatha with cameos by Tom Cruise, Madonna, Cher, Nickelback and others. The cost of this cinematic masterpiece is expected to be in the $25 to $75 range.
I like it, too! In really enjoy Tangela,Livingston together are a HOOT! And Vince is the best host I’ve ever come across!
@@lisaalbright8933 I agree 100%

A big Fan of all three of you! 😊💀🦇Also a big fan of the Grimm Life! 🎃🕸☠️
Michael's shoes are so cool!
its amazing that he heard the door knock
Loved the movie. Thank you for all you do. Is the movie the brood on your list of movies?
Oh this fucked me up when I saw it alone I was 10 years old I still have flashbacks lol
It's rare the film delivers so completely on it's title and for the entire duration of it's credits 🤣
Good movie. Worth watching.
This movie is different from most that are shown on creature features as it actually got very good reviews and has a top notch cast.
A lot of married men having flashbacks with this title thinking about the times they came home late from "work". Scary movie with a top cast.....DON'T MISS IT!
IF this is not on in 2 minutes...I am leaving ;)
you guys make us smile , subscribed
Funny I was going to watch Grimm life's newest video before I came on here and saw this episode. I guess I will get to see them twice tonight.
Is the screaming woman Helen Reddy? I don't know if she does much screaming, but in the song she says we should hear her roar. Is she going to be a guest? Maybe she'll do that song of hers about Poulter Mansion's resident grave robber, "Tangie Baby"...
(And yes, I know Ms. Reddy has passed on, but since when does that stop anybody at the Poulter place?).
Maybe Grimm Life and Tangella can contact Miss Reddy's ghost and we can have a concert, I used to love Angie Baby one of Helen's best songs.
Yeah, it's an odd sort of song, and spooky. I remember they did a little production of it when Helen Reddy was guesting on The Carol Burnett show. I've always thought it would be cool if CF could do a little version of it as the Tangella song I mention above, with her playing the scary young girl role (the part was made for her!).
@@troyhickman4904 Tangella does have a great voice she did a Christmas song a few years back no words just la las she did it in a round style were in the end there were 9 Tangellas singing it's listed under Extras number 20, I consider myself lucky to discovered CF on TH-cam with the algorithm, many laughs and good times.
If you mean the Sugar Plum Fairy one, Doug, yeah, it became an instant Christmas tradition at the hermitic cave that is Hacienda del Hickman. Everything about it is the ginchiest, a beautiful production all around.
She'd start screaming "LEAVE ME ALONE!" about 40 times in row like one of her more annoying songs. 😅
OMG...did you guys see that raccoon at 1:42:13?? I have a feeling that was unscripted...and Olivia noticing, but not noticing, and kept acting like the pro she is...classic!!
I know Americans treat them with disdain as not much better than rodents, but trust me...they're adorable compared to cane toads and other multiple REAL pests we have here in Australia. I found one of our most deadly venomous snakes in my driveway a couple of months ago, in the middle of a city of 2 million...and a huntsman spider the size of a desert plate on my son's bedroom door once.
Raccoons are ADORABLE...LUV them!!
We have them here and they usually aren't a problem at all. They will get into your garbage pails if they aren't secured. (and what a mess that can be !) My favorite creatures are your Australian Flying Foxes. Cute, keen, social and so interesting)
Well, the crew had to know it was there.
We don't treat raccoons with disdain- we're just leery of rabies. I've adored them since I was a kid myself!🦝🦝🦝🦝
Congratulations 🎉
That was a a great movie
Keep up the scary work
The Screaming Woman and it's companion movie, The Hollering Hag.
Loved The Dark Old House, Castle at his best.
Please air Dracula, the Spanish version for Halloween!
Yes subtitles are OK, same set, was filmed at the same time, after regular shooting schedule, same script, just not with the MBA suits demanded editing, censorship, ruining the US version.
Spanish Dracula? Dios mio!
@sea campeon
Yes, before dubbing was possible, economic feasible, it was common to film the movie again, at the same time, with the appropriate speaking actors, for global distribution.
French, Spanish, etc, many of these films have been lost.
Spanish Dracula was filmed after each day's shooting of English Dracula, over night, 5 PM - 5 AM, same sets, etc.
The MBA studio suits did a whack job on English Dracula, they got involved in editing. They thought the carriage ride to the castle was boring, they cut most of it. It's a key factor in the book's story line, it's where Dracula gets his wealth, the blue lights.
They removed a lot of the story, wanting a faster pace.
They left Spanish Dracula alone. It's more to the original script, the female vampires are more sexy, something the studio cut back on in the English version.
Basically the MBA suits ignored it.
It's very good, in fact it's has a more creepy vibe.
It's well worth watching.
"Mi casa es tu casa", it's been awhile since I have seen it, but I think that is a Dracula line.
Maybe Tangella will speak for the first time, español?
This movie is the definition of "The Martha Mitchell Effect". Look it up!
"You saved her life"
"She saved mine"
I saw this when I was little and didn't get that double entendre. Now I do.
It's funny, though from a very young age I would come to love Monsters, Horror and the Goriest of gore seeing THIS made for TV movie from 1972 when I was around 7 or 8 absolutely creeped me the hell out.
Actually, good movie! And can't wait for Grimm Life's video on the haunts! Woo!
Prior incarnations:
Ray Bradbury's original story
His script for an episode of the radio show "Suspense"
We love, "The Grimms!"
At first I thought Mike wasn’t having a good time, then I realized,
“Oh, he’s doing a bit.”
😃
Olivia abandoned the horse at the beginning of the movie. What happened to the horse?
Horses know their way back to the stables. Thank God.
Tangella, I am jealous! You not only got to meet Mike and Jessica more than once, you got all my living dead dolls too! No fair!!! Lol. Lucky ghoul!💕
Santa Cruz, hometown!
Tangella and her alter ego are very good mimes!
How disappointing of a movie? I thought, from the title, it was about Vincent, Mr. Livingston telling Tangella no.
Love your show. This movie was aggravating. You would think they would have brought shovels to dig her up. And of coarse no one believes her because she was considered crazy arrrrr
Hi everyone ,Oklahoma here

Like this movie And cast she Had some Lungs
Tangella have anything to do with it?
THAT WAS ACTUALLY A GOOD MOVIE 🎥
The people in this movie and their behavior toward the older lady is repulsively stupid. I like the happy ending. The older lady turned out to be the only sane one with decent character. Tell Michael and Jessica they should add true anecdotal stories about hell to their haunts. It's enough to turn Tangella into a practicing nun.
🖤🕷🖤🕷
Olivia de Havilland , my favourite Marian to my favourite robin hood
I found myself getting frustrated lol...rich woman stereotyped by her neighbors and nobody wants to believe her and meanwhile this poor woman is dying...great story
Guest: Michael and Jessica :)!
Movie: "AAAaaaauuughhhh!!"
(I LIKE #37) "AAAaaaaaaah!!"
Gosh, I'm in love with all of you... And the channel... And Tangella... And the whole thing... But mostly Tangella... And of course Vinny and Livingstone... And such excellent and eclectic content... But mostly Tangella, let's face It, who couldn't be ? But yeh, totally Tangella... (Am about to faint)... XoXo
Fast forward to 1:46:00 your welcome :)
