The intro. The editing. The professionalism. The Peterness... Magnificent. Amazing work that can only be expected from The Right Honorable Judge, Jury, And Executioner (of pens).
I hate it when I sneeze so hard that I forget how to breathe for a few seconds. It's like "Ah, this is how I die. From an intense sneeze." I felt that sneeze. I felt it.
You are good at saying goodbye. It’s just hard since there’s like a million ways to do it and everyone listening is just watching in silence, hidden from you. But your goodbyes always makes me happy rather than sad. Love you
@@morthanalittle Yeah! I've noticed a lot of people just rush the end or jam it up with stuff about other videos so it feels like a commercial, or just try to be cool about it so it seems like they don't really care about the connection to viewers they all claim to have. Just that he seems unsure of how to say it shows that he cares. But on top on that he always likes to make you feel appreciated. Makes you want to stay for those last few seconds so you can get a smile and some encouragement back. Heartfelt, soft, sweet, yes
don't worry, you're saying fude right, and if you were wondering, it's japanese for writing brush or brush pen, like they use for traditional calligraphy in china and japan, because the shape of the nib allows you to mimic the way you write that style of calligraphy with a brush. and that little bit on top of the nib helps it hold even more ink at the ready, which probably helps with those wide sideways strokes with the bent nib. that's also what the three-part nib is for.
Everything you said Peter, made perfect sense. I remember you speaking many times of not wanting to overly explain your art, to allow the viewer to see what they wanted or needed to see. That is one of the many joys I get from your art, just being able to look at it over and over, always seeing and interpreting something new each time. We all love you too.
Mick Smith It’s actually “fu-deh-noh-soo-keh”, since the Japanese characters have the equivalent of two english letters each, so the sounds are grouped as fu-de-no-su-ke = ふでのすけ (The double “oo”s are not lengthened sounds, just to indicate that the sound is like “sue” not “sew”.)
I think that your the only person who’s channel I watch that can say “I don’t care what you think” and I’ll be ok with it 😂, your channel is so amazing please don’t ever stop, I know in one of your other videos you said you wouldn’t but still. Every time I just feel down, or bored, or in this case about to go to sleep, I watch your videos, I guess it’s because how you just pour out your feelings on both paper and verbally it just makes me happy to know that there are still good, funny, goofy, honest people in the world and people that can cheer you up in strange ways in this crazy upside down world, ik this is probably a bit long but wanted to share how I felt too, thank you again!
Ahhhh gotta have fun with the simplest things even if it is enjoying watching a vacuum sucking up saw dust like when I was a kid my grandpa had a bunch of clear tubes that ran all around his workshop and you could watch the saw dust going all across the workshop until it made it into the vacuum itself

I love you too Peter. Your openness is heartwarming. And just your YT channel is highly enjoyable! But my love for you is pretty much independent of that now, I love you for existing as an amazing human being
Yay! You finally got a fude nib! I knew you would like it - keep playing around with how you hold it to get an amazing variety of line widths. It was designed to act like a Chinese calligraphy brush; if you've ever seen a video of one of the masters making calligraphy art, how they bend and twist their wrists as they guide the brush across the paper, that's kind of the idea. I would love to see more with this nib! I have the Duke Bamboo Confucious fude pen, and it's a lot of fun to play with.
Peter, just as an FYI, and I don’t know how accurate this is but I read in the past that the spring in the converter is in there to keep the ink from freezing. Your analogy sounds more plausible to me but I thought I’d throw that out there for your consideration. I enjoy your reviews. Thanks and love. Kelly 💆🏻
I have never owned a pen for more than just signing something and I dont like ASMR but you’re videos are so relaxing and “draw” me in every time. Thank you for creating these videos
The Honorable Judge Peter judging the Duke Fude pretty sweet pen I like it. I also liked that vacuum at the beginning of the video I could use something like that in my house.
That pen looks so satisfying. I'd get one of these and just push it against paper with no purpose in mind at the end of a long day! It's larger size would definitely help with my hand cramps, too!
Hey! Me too. I have two Confucious, one Guang Yi in beautiful green an a 551 all of four from Duke. Very affordable, I think I may experiment some grinding on one or two of them, making an italic or something.
Love the look of this pen and the multiple ways you can write/draw with it. I could watch you draw for hours, it's so relaxing. I love hearing you talk about your art. This whole video was great! Oh, by the way, gesundheit!
I just ordered my first bent nib pen. I love broad letters and writing on the larger side. I'm super excited to try it with my walden pond ink and see how the red sheen over the teal really pops.
People want to have a story to tell about the new piece of art they just purchased. My work really started to catch on after I started to invite patrons to my studio, they want to have a story to tell about the picture, so I'm always happy to answer any questions. Thanks so much for not cutting out that sneeze. I have had a shit week, and that moment just gave me the first real laugh I've had in days and days. Epic
