@@maguiedossantos2925 yes! her own mom was the same. And my dad was violent like his dad. I'm very proud to have broken the cycle and to be very affectionate and not violent with my own kids. ❤️ Hugging them and telling them "I love you" (which I never experienced) repairs many things for me.

My parents never showed me love or affection cos their parents didn't show them and were awful so they didn't know how to be a parent to me which is sad cos I've grown up not being able to show love and affection or my feelings etc but I can with my kids, they're the only one's that get that side from me but I've been working on it for years and I'm definitely a lot more open and loving then I used to be 💪
