Riding since I was 16 ! 23 to 25, in college, enjoyed on a Yamaha 350cc 2 stroke ! 35 years later, on Oct 2nd this year, bought a Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor ! Complete blast on crowded Pune roads, India ! 61 years now & having the time of my life all the way, everyday, on my value for money Interceptor! Enough power for most maneuvers & for blasting through traffic gaps! Not heavy on mind or pocket or to move around ( I'm almost 6ft & 92 kg, lifelong athlete !).
Congratulations to Royal Enfield on their first American flat track victory last year. Possibly the best thing that happened in 2020. Good luck this year if RE offers a street version of the dirt tracker I might be forced to buy one
Just the right amount of power to have fun with. Sometimes too much power is not fun at all. The INT 650 seems just right and it is a very good looking bike. I'd love to own one.
There is a lot of crap thrown at Royal Enfield, okay no top of the range sports bike, but even these figures show you get a lot for your money, which in the real world is more than adequate.
Very nice colour !!! It seems a red Interceptor will be available from stock during 2021. I wonder why there's no "British Racing Green" option... It would completely match with Interceptor's design...
It would seem that the machine is engineered and designed to give optimum performance across a band. As there is no such thing as a free lunch I think that an "improvement" in exhaust sound while giving that nice rumble would come at the expense of performance at the top of the band. Is my thinking correct here?
Hi Aviateur Motard, congrats for the bike and the nice video. I like your video : sound is amazing. I've bought a Classic 500 2016 second hand. My bike has some modifications from the latest owner: Hitchcoks kit 535 cc, Oil cooler, free flow filter, Dynojet V5 and a custom exhaust. Unfortunately I had no chance to ride the new RE twin series. I subscribed your channel. Help growing the channels with RE contents. keep on like that! Greeting from an old glider pilot.
@@aviateurmotard ThankX! Am leaning heavily to RE, eith er Intercepter or SuperMeteor. Do the S/S limit it's too of the band performance? I remember seeing REs that Airmen were riding in town who had rotated back from SAC duty in the UK. They had a thump sound that I really liked Triumphs seemed to bark.
@@romulusalex it is available if you import it, which costs a lot (500 $ equivalent). I meant as in RE doesn't provide you the option for it. If it was manufactured here, that would have been great. It's only exclusive to US at the moment.
@@romulusalex i wish man. But they're not legal exhausts. I know many people do it, but if the authorities are in the mood, they won't spare. Specially in cities like Bangalore. Would rather wait for official exhausts from RE itself.
I’d like to see one of these Indian built “Interceptors” timed against a real RE Interceptor, British made from my young day. It had the name of being the fastest accelerating twin of its day, and when you think that the competition was Bonnevilles, 650ss Nortons and Lightnings/Spitfires that’s one almighty feat.
Besides being classically beautiful, it sounds sweet in stock form and enough power to be entertaining... Nice job.
This isn’t stock read description after market pipes
That tank colour is just amazingly gorgeous ❤️

Здравствуйте, можете посоветовать, для роста 6'3 и веса 85 посадка нормально будет? Тоже спортсмен..

Great choice of colour on the fuel tank.

You nailed it with that candy apple red paint. Job well done

One of the most beautiful interceptor to ever exist 🔥🔥

Awesome video, your bike sounds amazing. Do you have a high flow filter as well? Also, do you have any engine management addition?
Thank you for sharing, awesome test
How much lighter is that exhaust?
Lovely bike.Would 0-60 have perhaps been slightly quicker if you'd stayed in 3rd and took it to the rev limiter? Super quick changes 👏
Touring seat? Looks fine, better than the standard one. Smart motorbike, gorgeous & lovely aspect. Wonderful exhaust sound!
wye would you want more really.. its a grate acceleration. think people mostly want the 100 bhp bike because of bragging rights.
She gets going, that's for sure. More than enough to have fun and get into and out of trouble.

Sounds awesome l'm getting one !
Need S&S exhausts legally available at RE Outlets in India... (Plus oh my God that cherry red color, OH MY GOD smoking hot)
is that an aftermarket exhaust? sounds great.
That sound though :)
It’s a custom color ? Because the stock one comes with black rims? But this has silver which looks great
Indeed it's a custom paint. Originally the tank was silver grey.
It is very very beautiful color and also your royal Enfield interceptor.
Great video.
nice color, it is new royal red?
It's a custom paint (candy red)
Great looking and sounding bike...can you tell me what handlebars are on the bike...? Cheers, Steve

The bike starts like a lion roring

red
Are those stock exhausts?
Pleeeze say yes!
Unfortunately no. The stock exhausts are super quiet, I swapped them for S&S as soon as I got the bike, so much louder

Gem of an engine that is. Atleast by our indian standards
