Awesome work mister! Happy to see you're still at it
Thanks!! There's definitely more to come, so stay tuned! 😄
Love the attention to details! Giving me a lot of good ideas for my 85 Celica
Thanks!! I'm trying to capture every gritty detail I can so everyone who watches can easily replicate it!
Finally, I love you.
Hope it was worth the wait! 😅
Keep the build going... I have the same car and would love to see how this turns out...
Absolutely! I bet you it'll be awesome, can't wait to get her running. Still a lot to get figured out, and I hope you'll continue to watch as I work out each problem! 😁
Ever check out the CarTuneNZ channel? Tons of esoteric 1/2/3UZ info. The guy works incredibly fast and knows the engines like his own reflection.
Oh totally! Kel's video formats are hard to watch, but there's great info in them. I have a playlist with so many of his videos saved. Helped a LOT when I was doing timing belt / oil pan stuff back in Episode 6!
The suspense is real my guy
Soon we will have m a r r i a g e.
Nice progress, bring on the exciting stuff!
Thank you!!! Hope to keep up this pace, and finish the car before the end of the year! 😄
Great video!!!
Thank you!! Glad you liked it. 😊
@@winguard96 Thank you. I've anxiously waiting for this video. You have given me great ideas and a great path for my 83.
@@xyjoshxy I hope this episode was worth the wait!! Looking forward to seeing your build begin as well.
You should put a glob of silicone over the ends of the exposed rivnuts.
For what reason? Corrosion protection? The rivnuts are zinc coated already, so that'll help some.
@@winguard96 Exactly. It will also help prevent moisture from migrating into the truck area and around your battery.
Hi any new videos whatever happened to the Celica?
Sitting pretty in the garage, haven't had a chance to work on her as I deal with other priorities.
Would a 1uz from 96 ls400 work too?
Sure it would. Running a stock ECU and preparing for smog-readiness is more challenging, however. Thus if you use a 1996 Series 2 1UZ, run a standalone ECU and new harness. :)
Premieres in 2 hours, and I’ll be in school😔
Slow Car Salon will teach you the skills that a Zoom class won't. 🧐
@@winguard96 well, we’ll probably be going back online since my school had a spike in cases
@@winguard96 if so, you bet your 10mm that all I’m doing is car stuff
