@@tempura-ocha you just manage a certain feeling in your tracks that's hard for me to really describe that i don't get from a lot of others like, i guess you're just really good at capturing a certain kind of mystical feel, and i really like it? something along those lines it helps to serve as inspiration fuel while i attempt to create things myself so i really do admire and appreciate your work!
"The extremes in [Tinkerbell's] personality are explained in the story by the fact that a fairy's size prevents her from holding more than one feeling at a time, so *when she is angry she has no counterbalancing compassion.* " - Wikipedia on the first iteration of Tinkerbell
I suspect Tinkerbell of Inequality is actually a mistranslation of the song title and it’s actually supposed to be Tinkerbell Inequality, as a play on the bell inequality of bell’s theorem-bell inequality in japanese is ベルの不等式 which is fairly similar
I have to say that this is even better than the official version, and that one is my favorite in the album so... big kudos to you! I can't stop listening to this~ beautiful chord progressions and production
this is one of my favorite touhou-style tracks!!! i'm not sure how to put it into words but i think it's very addicting, sounds a little bittersweet too... :_) this is wonderful!!!
What a wonderful arrangement! I absolutely love it! Definitely going into the playlist, whether or not it ends up close to the album version or not- Great job!
this popped up in my recommendations and im completely love with this track! i've had it looped for hours now :D love the suspenseful tone coupled with such a rich overall sound, absolutely amazing, def giving you a sub ^^
I love the sense of atmosphere created here. It sounds like it could be on the album and if I'm being honest after listening to this and the real one I like this one more, seriously great work
upon the reveal, i'm pretty amazed by how you nailed the tone after all! dark and experimental, in such a delectable way. i stand by my previous comment - i'm adding this to my playlist like it was an extra song since it fits the story so much.
ONLY 17 COMMENTS? Alright. I've been listening to this quite a lot since it came out, and YT keeps recommending it to me as it knows that lol. Frankly, if ZUN used chords are beautiful as those I'd be the happiest man alive. And as a fellow composer who learnt a lot from ZUN, I'm jealous of your mixing. I'm definitely lacking those. PS 1: I'll be holding you accountable if I'm disappointed in the album btw lmaooo. PS 2: god I hope ZUN reuses erhu in that album. He's the reason I bought a VST of it and used it in like 4 songs now.
I wanted to come back and comment after I heard the revealed version. Thought it was only fair then to make my comment. Your version..It’s a real spot on prediction for the tone of the album, even if the end result was drastically different. I did like ZUN’s version a lot but I think I prefer this one more, after reading the story. It’s a dreamy and romantic song with dreadful undertones, something that the story made clear from the start. Fantastic. 20/10.
After some research, I can somewhat understand the title, Bell's theorem, originally Bell's inequality. The intent is to prove that quantum mechanics's reality is wrong, and there must be a hidden variable that makes quantum entanglement work... Quantum mechanic's reality is that reality comes after observation, observation decides what it is, compared to the objective, local realism classical physics believed it's nonsensical. Quantum experiments are hard to achieve, but they still did it, turns out, Bell's inequality is false, and it instead proved quantum physics' world even more. You believed, then it exists, that's just fantasy. A world where fairies exist when you believe, and die when you no longer…
this is SO cool! i love the chords and choices of instrumentation
you're definitely one of my favorite touhou fan music creators nowadays
Considering that there's so many insanely amazing touhou fan composers now, that's an honour! Thank youu

I suspected that too! but opted to use touhouwiki's translation of the title, which usually is defacto standard for better or for worse lol

Come to think of it, the title might even refer to the "Tinkerbell Effect".
