Hey Nick here's an idea for a video: In the korean show Physical 100 they have a competition where 4 competitors are spread on a track evenly spread. The goal is to catch the person in front of you. If you get tagged you're out of the race. It ends with 1 winner. Would love to see that done on a bigger track!

Actually, this seems like a creative way to train strategical thinking in races, which is crucial for mid-distance races. Yes, there's a lot of luck involved in this game, but you can skew the odds in your favour by adjusting your pace based on your distance to the different chairs and the positions + skill of the other players.
I really really like what you're doing. You're literally serving the society the best way and using your influence so well, by encouraging people to get moving. I hope you grow much more and does not change along the way. You deserve it buddy!

I do feel sorry for all those that went out in the first round though as I think it was a bit harsh to go from 1000 to 40. Maybe it would have been better to go from 1000 to 100 then from 100 to 50 then go with your format to finish to give more people the chance to run for longer!
Hey Nick ..... I suggest putting this idea forward to either the IOC or World Athletics. You could have it local high school athletes compete in your version of musical chairs. The prizes could be sponsored and the competition could take place during the mid day or evening break between sessions. It would be a fun way of reintroducing running back to the masses again. Plus you can make LOTS OF CONTENT off it :) All you got to do now is show this video to them and I'm 80% sure they will agree with you. Well that's my perspective anyways :)
This makes me think that there should be more events like the relay race because most of the events are just run a certain distance and sometimes that is boring to watch because they are just running around a track lots of times. The best distance running event is the 100m sprint.
The intro very much reminds me of a Mr. Beast intro, but what I like is you add an athletic twist to it, making me want to watch it. Great video and keep it up!
I think you should’ve done 300 chairs then 100 then 60 then whatever 40 people out of 1000 for first round is just crazy crazy not enough chairs there’s gonna be like 100 people colliding into each chair
We used to play musical chairs every year at my friend house for his birthday. Being the son of an attorney I asked the Mom what the rules were as far as sitting down on the chair(or first to touch the chair.). She made the mistake of dismissing my question without thinking about it and said "whoever sits in it first). Me being the biggest guy in the event turned it into a wrestling event. She changed the rules in the middle of the competition after I slammed one of my buddies into a wall and picked up the chair and ran with it. Good times!
When music stops you have to find a chair thats closest to you. The rule dont go back is the most idiotic thing ive heard. "Gotta go all around a track for a chair that ls behind me".
