*CAMPAIGN 2 SPOILER WARNING* My favorite CR thing is how invested the cast are in their characters and the world around them, which makes the rest of us invested. Never thought I'd cry at a DnD character being reunited with her mother the way I cried at Zuko's reunion with Iroh.

Kree wakes up every once in a while just to look over at Lucian, then falls back asleep; he occasionally has vision moments where his eyes glaze over and you can see eyes appear around him a bit and the ones on him glow before we "wakes" with a start; possibly even a tarot card moment, just once, before he realizes what he's doing and puts it away in disgust. I like the sound of this.
spoilers: ... I'm glad Keyleth got her mother back after the Rumblecusp arc. She's been through so much, dealing with having the responsibility of the aramente and leading her people put upon her, losing Vax, seeing others in VM pair off and live happily ever after (most notably Vex and Percy, for whom Vax gave his life & soul). A lot of it was fertile ground for her becoming embittered in her loneliness & loss, and maybe even becoming the bad guy in another story because of it. I feel now that she's reunited with her mother, that will ward against that as she finally has someone who truly understands what it's like for her.
Might want to put up some C1 spoilers too. I know it is basically common knowledge and spoilers are inevitable. But a lot of people begin by watching C2 and you don't want to be the one that spoiles it.😁
I do like that idea that she may have become a villain if her mother hadn’t shown up, and it’s possible that Matt had the idea for her to start showing signs of that by the time her mother got there. Her mother showing up would have awoken her to realize what she was doing, and her mother would then comfort her about the loss of Vax. It is also funny to think about the fact that Keyleth is now the only VM member who knows a ton about the mighty Nein considering Vilya spent a ton of time with them, and would surely tell Keyleth about it. Mighty Nein meets Keyleth one day, “ Oh I’ve heard about you!”

Why would she go through all that, fight so hard to save the world only to become a bitter villain? She still has her friends, it's not like they all left forever. Having her mother return would bring her some happiness, but wouldn't change her.

Yes a villainous twist just isnt corresponds with keyleths character in any way shape or form and doesnt make sense. For example it would have made sense for percy to become evil if it was vex tragic end instead of vax because he has that darkside in him but for kiki its just isnt right

If they fail, they will call for support. Etc etc

Im watching the Vox Machina Campaign for the first time and I’m around episode 70. I absolutely love Keyleth, especially seeing her relationship with Percy and Vax and how much she’s grown at this point💚
I'm also watching campaign 1 for the first time I'm on episode 102... I'm not prepared to finish this yet 😅 it is nice to see how they all grew. I still prefer the mighty nein to vox machina but I've grown attached to them all. I had trouble to connect with these characters at first but I've grown to like them all now. Like you said it's great to see how they've all grown especially Keyleth 😊
You know what's hard to think about? The average lifespan of a half-elf is nearly 200 years. As an archdruid, she will live ten times that. All the happy moments, the sad moments, the epic moments and the traumatic moments with Vox Machina will be but a tiny, tiny footnote at the end of her life. She will have nearly 2000 years to deal with both the nostalgia of the good ol' days and the loss of her beloved. Her most treasured memories will be less than 1% of her life. You're welcome.
Flip side: She has all that time to make more treasured memories with different people. Having more good times won't make Vox Machina any less precious to her, and it's silly to think that she'll never make friends as close as those ever again. Also, she can visit with her friends' kids and grandkids and share stories with them to reminisce. Once she's had time to heal, she'll experience joy in so many new things, and she can even find romantic love again if she's open to it. It would be unhealthy for her to think that ending a chapter of her life must mean she'll never move on. I think if we can take these vibes as canon, she's moving on quite well and will have many centuries filled with joy.
I still like the Vexleth ship where after Percy passes at ya know human 80-100 years, Kiki and Vex get another century together. Who says Keyleth will only have one romance in her 1800+ years?
Another thing to think about is when she does pass away, will the Raven Queen have gotten a new champion or not? What will Percy's inventions and those of Artificers building on his work have done in almost 2 millennia, what changes to her world will she witness as a result.

Keylith is the one who lost the most out of surviving members of Vox Machina. Her elven capacity to love mixed with her long life span. Add in her human sided capacity for emotional pain. She will be scarred for decades. Vex has Percy Scandlin and Grog have Pike. Keyleth only has her loss. She makes me sad. Beutiful video and tribute to her character.
Even worse, Keyleth is a 20th level druid. Timeless Body means she'll live to be ~1800, long after all members of Vox Machina and their children have died.
@@paradoxdriver4094 She did and she can hold on to that I would like to think that's why she can put on something of a false smile and front for the good of her people. I was referring to a deep emotional connection. Her friends aren't just people she pulls around with. They are battle brothers and sister forming bonds of life and death situations. Those bonds are stronger then family, and as pointed out with timeless body she will out live all of them and their children. Kiki has the saddest end game story of all the heros. Getting her mother back 20+ years later is a consolance but Keyleth will eventually loose her her father and several generations of the Ashari. Damn now I need a drink...
She's got her people. And I think every experience she went through will make her a better leader. Plus, thanks to the Mighty Nein she has her mom back. And I don't believe she'll be grieving for Vax for her entire 2,000 year lifespan. Maybe for a century or so, but eventually she'll move on.
I started liking Keyleth originally out of spite towards the people that were giving Marisha shit, but she has become such a comfort character to me now that I did tear up a little bit when I heard her voice paired with the music. : )
Very chill one, really liked it! So far, none have topped the Caduceus one, in my opinion though. I really want the next one to be Matt doing Henry Crabgrass. It'd be called Chill tunes to Cuddle with Consent :D

I love this so much and it just makes me want to sob, but in a good way. The love I have for Kiki is just astronomical. She is one of the most amazing characters I have ever had the pleasure to see, and I couldn´t thank Marisha enough for that.
Fun fact, post game kyleth ages incredibly slow thanks to being an archdruid. She probably looks exactly the same in campaign 2 days as she did at the end of campaign 1
Given her last words before it ends, this is either set in the Mighty Nein's present or perhaps even into the future (though I wouldn't assume very far).

Keylith is the one who lost the most out of surviving members of Vox Machina. Her elven capacity to love mixed with her long life span. Add in her human sided capacity for emotional pain. She will be scarred for decades. Vex has Percy Scandlin and Grog have Pike. Keyleth only has her loss. She makes me sad. Beutiful video and tribute to her character.
To be faaaair, Kiki also got to save her entire tribe, so there's that.
Even worse, Keyleth is a 20th level druid. Timeless Body means she'll live to be ~1800, long after all members of Vox Machina and their children have died.

I was referring to a deep emotional connection. Her friends aren't just people she pulls around with. They are battle brothers and sister forming bonds of life and death situations. Those bonds are stronger then family, and as pointed out with timeless body she will out live all of them and their children. Kiki has the saddest end game story of all the heros. Getting her mother back 20+ years later is a consolance but Keyleth will eventually loose her her father and several generations of the Ashari. Damn now I need a drink...
She's got her people. And I think every experience she went through will make her a better leader. Plus, thanks to the Mighty Nein she has her mom back. And I don't believe she'll be grieving for Vax for her entire 2,000 year lifespan. Maybe for a century or so, but eventually she'll move on.
Throw in, the decision to have children or not. Could you outlive your children?
