Came across your vid searching for an answer to my Makita XDT14z not powering on after I dropped it. I have no power, no trigger lights, no battery indicator lights, etc. Tried multiple fully charged batteries. Any thoughts you can suggest?
@@Joseph-eh4rs you cannot use any grease. Impact wrenches require very specific greases - Moly grease, EP grease, Synthetic grease and carengine oil. on various parts !!! (1) Moly grease- on the Striker-Coupling shaft contact points, on 2 ball bearings inside the stiker socket. (2) EP grease on the armature and planetary gears contact points & inside on the flange housing gear. (3) Synthetic Grease on the O-rings, washers & Damper (4) Car engine oil applied along with moly grease (30-70 ratio) on the spring & ball bearings.
Which language, anyways as per my understanding of your question - Apply synthetic silicone grease NLGI2 on ANY rubber/nitrile/viton like material inside the impact wrench - No need to get very technical on specific names or parts only apply silicone grease to anything inside which is non metalic and non plastic. ("damper" is a rubber piece to reduce the vibrations and shocks to the armature from the Striker-Coupling shaft, ity may or may not be there in all Impact wrenches but definately will be there in higher torque impact wrenches )@@orinfaflik3482

@@kashi2843 may I request more detail about which part of impact wrenches so called "Damper" ? I have no clue to get it in our language.
