She only ever released one album in 2006 and Ryan wrote and produced the whole album with no help from Diddy. Ryan wrote & produced “Me & U” solo and Diddy only discovered “Me&U” bc he kept hearing it blowing up across NY’s club scene. Her biggest song was going to be a hit with or without him . And Diddy never delivered Cassie a hit record that came anything close to “Me&U” after making her sign a 10 album deal 😬

He wrote and produced the entire album without Diddy: fact. Cassie signed to bad boy as a *joint-venture* between Bad Boy & Ryan’s label ‘nextSelection’: fact. Diddy’s on camera in the board room of Bad Boy saying he heard me & u in the clubs and pulled them in to sign a deal: fact. Go look up that video if you don’t believe me. I remember two chicks that I went to HS with who were critical of my job in my late teens and early 20s and acted like college (for their man) was so important to them.
