I got one of those Ortho hose sprayers after seeing you use one in a previous video. Great tool... must have walked by it a hundred times at the home store.

This is the first year trying it. I will use a backpack sprayer now that my irrigation is back on. Worth the money if you dont have one though. Thanks for watching

@@JasonWhitakerTheDIYDAD it's a cheap and convenient way to throw down some liquid seaweed, which is mainly what I use it for.

It’s my understanding that the -10 setting was for the scarifier so the blades can get dig into the dirt. Good to see it works with the dethatcher as well

I’m located just north of you and interested in your results as I’m sure we have similar soil types. I have yet to spend the money on any of the biostimulants and my neighbors still say I have one of the best lawns on the block. Having said that, it’s difficult to dominate when several in the neighborhood take their lawn care a little more seriously than the average Joe. Love your home theater too. Keep up the good work!

How are u applying your N-EXT products to lawn?
Hand sprayer or back pack sprayer?
    All at once mixed together?
    Or one at a time?

Came across your videos and they are very detailed. I like that. I subscribed as well. Can you tell me the order in which you would start like cutting grass, dethatching, etc.

Thank you for watching and subscribing. The order that I would start is first to walk the lawn. Understand what you have and don't. Set goals for what you want to achieve this year and come up with a plan of action. Next I would measure your lawn to understand how much lawn you are working with. From your goals and strategy, start researching products that get you to that goal. Try some products out as you will find out what works for you. Discover different methods of application that can either make application easier or cheaper. Then set your plan into action.
As for me, I don't have much history about my lawn so I started with what I call good practices. I first started with cleaning the yard up. This includes sticks, debris, rocks, etc. I then mowed my grass down to the second lowest notch on my mower (Scalped) to be ready to power rake as I saw lots of debris in the canopy of the grass. I then took the Sun Joe and pulled that debris out and then bagged it using my mower as a vacuum. Now that I know that my chemicals would have a better chance reaching the dirt and grass, I then started treated my lawn with soil enhancers. This is where the Humic 12, Air 8, and RGS come into play. I also applied some micro nutrients to help give the existing grass. I then mowed it a couple more times, watching what the lawn was doing. I saw the blue grass spreading and growing so I knew that the lawn was taking to the applications I preformed. I then added a second application to the lawn, spray weed killer, and added fertilizer two weeks after the first application. I also just mechanically aerated the lawn too. Now we are going to wait and see how the lawn reacts. I will continue to mow at least weekly around two and half inches.
I know that's a lot of info to digest, but hope that helps you get started.
