    Mine leaked air after 2 months. Checked all threaded fittings and narrowed it down to the gage itself. Undid the 3 screws under the rubber cover and discovered the plastic fitting bolted to the transducer on the circuit board had cracked. Going to try to seal it with super glue and retest. While it worked it was fantastic.

      I applied a UV resin sparingly to the crack and pulled a light vacuum to force it into the crack. I then cured it under UV light. It now works much better and no hissing.

    Analog gauges settle down faster, making the pressure easier to read. But it's easy enough to switch out the gauge on any inflator. I used an extension and fit a 4" Intercomp dial gauge on my inflator.

    I've been using it for a couple years now and love it. Won't use anything else at home.

    Nice review of what looks like a great tool. Unfortunately I bought a similar Foval product a couple of years ago that has been working great so far. Keep the reviews coming. I will read every one of them.

    I want tp get for my husband. So this is not portable? One would need an air line?

    • @GoldwingDocs
      @GoldwingDocs  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is just a valve and a pressure indicator - it does not include a compressor. So you will need to connect it to the air line on a compressor that you already have.

    Hi , I like the Jaco Pro Flow , Can it be used on the front forks of a 1500 SE ? I need a tool that will give me six. Pounds in each shock. Keep the how too's and videos coming.

      You should only ever use a hand pump (ie bicycle pump) on the forks. They need a tiny volume of air at only a few psi. Using a standard compressor can easily blow out your fork seals.

    Any idea if this connection will work on presta valves on MTB?
    Thanks

    Leaks air

      Mine has never leaked. Is it perhaps coming from the threaded connection?

    Do you think the new version 2.0 is better with the single dual purpose valve, or better with two separate valves?

    What's with all those numbers before it settles each time . Surely it should just go to zero when putting air in ?

    • @GoldwingDocs
      @GoldwingDocs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's measuring the air pressure. When you add air, you get the higher pressure air from your compressor/tank flowing, so that's what it's measuring. Once you stop filling, it settles back down to the tire pressure.

      @@GoldwingDocs I find it annoying . I got a replacement (with rubber hose) and it zeros while filling like it should , but it leaks like a sieve. Ended up returning both today to Amazon .

    OK THEN...How do I attach it to the hose at the gas station? There is already a chuck on theirs. I will buy it in a minute if that is possible. I believe EVERY bike owner would love to have this one but.....??? How do I attach at the station.🖖. Please please please give me the solution. We are tired of laying on the ground.

      @@doubleitp you dont, you get the smaller one thats just the gauge head & chuck so its more portable & use it like gauge. This one is mostly meant for in shop use

  • @John-jx3wl
    @John-jx3wl 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    NO ANSWER YET. I do not see how it can be used by 99% of us bike owners...motorized or not. How about including a transition adapter that will allow me to attach it to the valve stem first...then...be able to use the hose at the gas station at the other end instead if to a compressor female end at your home. We all do not have compressors. That is an expensive investment if I also have to buy a compressor. Apartments and condos do not have a lot of space to store things....like compressors. Seriously. This is a “ no brainer.” JCB🖖

      You would have to buy something like this: www.amazon.com/Performance-Tool-60505-Tank-Valve/dp/B006G4HSTU/ref=sr_1_4?tag=goldwingdocs-20 That way you could screw that adapter into the Jaco FlowPro, and then connect the air chuck at the gas station to it, so it would power the FlowPro.
