  • Relocation Questions: Moving to a New City or Town
Jeffrey Sefton, South Okanagan Home Team. It's Q&A time and the question is from a client that's relocating to our area here in the South Okanagan.
The question is should I go out and look at homes first or should I explore the area in depth. Well, the answer to that is explore the area in depth.
Whether it's one or more areas that you are interested in you need to get out there and check out the activities that you are interested in. Whether it's the wineries, playing golf, boating, hiking, walking. You need to find out about what the restaurant scene is, you grocery stores, what amenities you have in town that are important to you.
You really need to get a good feel for that, a good feel for the neighbourhood that you are interested in. You should drive around there in the morning, you should drive around there in the evening and you should really get a feel for it.
Stay local and check it out, at least a couple of days.
Thanks for watching. If you've got any questions about relocating to the South Okanagan DM me.
