Lots of water in the desert this year! Lovely!

Exciting to see your ideas and how you are organizing it better for you!
Thanks! Yes I’ve got it down pretty good now! It took awhile!

That is the best compliment you could give me 🧡 Thank you! It’s what I aim for!
Refreshing channel and positive..
Oh thank you so much!
Beautiful setup! The awning/tent extension is a game changer for a tiny camper addition. May God Bless you two on your adventures!

I don’t think I’ve ever had someone thank me for a cry 🧡 I tried my best to hold it in but it’s hard! Thank you! I hope to give him all the memories and moments!

You're an amazing fur baby mom. I am so happy that you are being able to hang and have such an amazing time with Phoenix. I hope that he lives his best life with you this summer and continues to do well. You sound like you're doing everything that you can. As a fur baby mom too, I understand your love for your baby and how much you want to give him a good life. Keep strong and enjoy each moment.

Thank you so much 🧡 yes that is exactly our goal!!
Thank you so so much! I just want to give him all the moments 🧡🧡
I like your set up, I have been spending my summers traveling and living out of my teardrop for the past 8 years, some of my solutions, for storage have been Front Runner soft storage boxes and ATC storage bags, hope this helps you out. Prayers for you and your pup.
Ohh you are now my total inspiration! That’s amazing! I am looking those up now! Thank you so much 🧡
I roll my clothes separate and then into a travel bag and stack them. Great setup!
I need to work on the rolling 🤣 Someone recommended I watch Marie Kondo and I’m going too! Thanks!!
I will pray for you & Phoenix. I have two German shepherds & They are my life.
Thank you so much 🧡 They are amazing best friends!
From what I understand and all the videos I've watched, wind can be a real problem in the desert so a lot of times people are not able to set up anything that can fly away or get ripped up. I purchased the Kelty back roads shelter which can be used in the back of my teardrop or on the side. It's not as nice as yours is. I am really hoping I can anchor it down enough that it will be okay in mild winds. I think winds can be the bane of our existence as teardrop dwellers. I had to chuckle when you said you wish you had done this sooner because I'm going to be 67 this year and I'm finally getting around to do it. You're lucky you are so young and getting out there now. I agree, it is harder but worth the trouble I think. I too am hoping to get out on the road this summer.
I think you're making the right decision for your dog both with the surgery and giving him his best life. He seemed so happy with you just in that week. Total joy. I'm looking forward to following your adventure!
Oh yeah the wind was brutal! I was actually really impressed with how well the tent withstood it. I actually looked at that kelty tent. It looks awesome but I needed something mounted since I’m running out of storage room 🤣 I did find these little discs you can get to weigh down the anchor points. They were on Amazon. I ordered those to hopefully help.
Oh I hope you get out this summer as well and enjoy all the adventures! Where are you thinking of heading?
I’m already missing living in it so I’m ready to be back out already. It’s totally worth it!
Thanks for watching and commenting 🧡
I love that light! Where did you find? Could you share some details about it. I’m doing my PhD & need a good set up too for work & school!
Subbed!!!
Great vlog. Enjoyed watching your week with you. I am hoping to get on the road this year too. What kind of internet setup are you using.
Oh how exciting!! I love that so many people are going after road life! Right now I’m using my T-Mobile home internet but for long term I have a pep link router and parsec antenna (doesn’t have to be mounted full time) with AT&T and TMobile SIM cards.
Love the setup! Super cute.. may I ask where you got the tent addition?
Hi thank you! This is a Ironman 4x4 6.5 foot awning and awning room and we love it!
Hey! I love your new set up it's been so fun to follow you guys so far! Where did you get the chairs from?
Thank you so much for following along! They are from a brand called Kuma. I got them off Amazon.
Hi there 👋 New to the channel. I also travel with my GSD. Where did you get those chairs! My dog also enjoys her comfort 😅
Hi Welcome and Thanks for joining us!! They are from Kuma Outdoor. We love them! They are super cozy!
Like Gary said in the comments, I think rolling the clothes Marie Kondo style might be a good way to go and have the ends facing you so you can quickly see what it is.
Off to watch Marie Kondo 🧡 Thanks for that tip!
Don't know if you're interested, but I bought two collapsable sinks from Walmart that work pretty good, and don't take up a bunch of room.
Yes I totally need those!!
Just please be careful of rattlesnakes they're coming out. Bass pro shop has a snake avoidance class for your dog and shots available thru a vet
Yep! He gets his updated training every year through a trainer who does it for our neighborhood!
@@MicheleShanklin 👍
You may have mentioned it but I'm just curious which lake that is ? Thanks. Great channel
That’s Lake Pleasant! I didn’t say it only because u was still there when the video posted! I should add it to the description now!
@@MicheleShanklin my Dad fishes there and I thought it looked familiar. Just got a teardrop and looking for places to take the family
Hi there, just wondering what lake you're at? I've got all these lakes around me here in the Phoenix area but it's just too hot right now to go camping. Was checking out one up North but it's closed and it looked kind of neat maybe in September. Safe traveling with you and your executive assistant. 😊
Hi this is Lake Pleasant so def one of the hot ones 🤣 thank you 🧡
Yeah I thought it might be lake Pleasant. Been there a couple times. My favorite is Apache lake. I'm catching up on your videos on my down time. Have a great day!
What brand is your brown loveseat that matches where your dog is sleeping?
They are both from Kuma Outdoor. The gray part on his is his car bed just because he’s a super cozy kid. It comes padded already but he’s spoiled 🤣
Beautiful 🌵🏜️ what lake is that
Lake Pleasant! It’s one of my favs!
@@MicheleShanklin Arizona is beautiful but too hot I live in So Cal can't order this weather on Amazon lol 😂
@@danpayan9468 oh I agree it’s too hot here 🤣🤣
@@MicheleShanklin in so Cal there's a couple of places I used to go Stockton flats yellow post camping, or Holcomb valley in Big Bear CA if your ever out this way awesome places
What is the brand of your screen tent
It’s an Iron Man 4x4 Awning and Awning room
What internet set up do you use?
I currently just use my TMobile home internet but will be using a pep link router and Parsec antenna with SIM cards for full time travel and in areas that don’t have TMobile.
@@MicheleShanklin Thanks! I'm in AZ too and work virtually so I need to be online 8 hours at a time. I'm looking at hotspots like Solis and Travelfi. Not sure how to use home internet on the road, except COX, that has some hotspots somewhere.
@@cheryln9950 I also need to be online all day. TMobile is cell based so I literally just take my home router with me and plug it in. It’s just like I’m at home. It will connect to a tower near me. I have a feeling they will figure out how to stop that long term but for now it works great. I know a few people who do it.
@@MicheleShanklin I wondered if it was possible to just unplug the modem and bring it along. Great idea!!
@@cheryln9950 just with cell tower based like TMobile. I don’t know how long it will last but I enjoy that it works now!
