Captain America's change in morality was nothing more than a gimmick/publicity stunt and never felt natural. The story of Secret Empire, while it had a few good moments that truly expanded upon the character's fall from grace, was contrived and poorly paced. But, the most egregious offense would have to be how the few meaningful events were undercut by the Deus Ex at the end. The event may have been "grander" in scope, but that does not equate to being a good story. All in all, Secret Empire fell flat.

I believe in the ultimate run Peter Parker used boiling water to damage Venom, so I would say heat is more of a weakness than fire, at least in Ultimate universe, but it would make sense both ways
