Not all the book fans like CQL but the CQL fans keep spamming the series in the audio drama comments. Allegedly they’ve been warned a number of times not to speak about the other adaptions for various reasons but this extra was the last straw. A Yuan quoted from CQL as a fun nod but both fandoms blew up unexpectedly. CQL fans kept spamming the extra because of this and supposedly they claimed the audio drama plagiarised CQL and the audio fans were not thrilled and wanted them to be kept separate and one fan was so enraged they asked for a refund for the audio drama, which got major backlash and yea it just snowballed. Then to stop everything the team completely pulled the extra out unannounced. 3) If you have already watched it in that 12 hour period it was up, you can rewatch in your history. 4) You can support the amazing people who worked on this series by buying the season for a few dollars on MaoErFM! As for subbing, the official doesn’t have English subs but the commentators do usually put up Chinese subs and there are non-official English hardsubs or soft subs from kittykat2010 on tumblr.

Precious some of the fans were introduced to MDZS based on CQL so they assume CQL is more accurate to the original plus the scene they called plagiarism is the one sentence at the end as that line was only from CQL. Either ways it still doesn’t make sense imo but the general consensus is that we should just continue to support the audio drama irregardless of these “fans”

In another cast interview WWX's says he basically wandered his way there for every recording and got himself lost every. single. time. So the 50 minutes late makes sense. LWJ's voice actor typically arrived early. XD

Can we just appreciate how even though all the actors involved in the tv drama, audio drama and the donghua are completely different but the castings are so great that the voices sound the same or close to being the same person. I never realised that they do the recordings individually 😅 I thought they would be standing next to each other so that the audio would be simultaneous, like a drama without the visual. But now I realise it’s probably really awkward to do romantic scenes and sexy sounds if the other actor is right there🤣
It really depends! I didn’t know it was like this either until they released the bts. It really depends on the studio that’s making it and this one decided that having them do it seperately would be the best way. And I think both of them are professional enough to be able to pull it off even standing next to each other, even if the staff might be more highly than usual lmao.
@@ThevralLee in this case, they usually don't record together because the volume of their voices are different and it needs to be properly adjusted. wei chao (lwj's va) said it in one of the free talk. plus, wwx's va said he usually likes to record alone, it's his thing, so that another reason.
Not really though. They once said that they feel sad not being able to record together because LWJ only had fewer lines than WWX. Because efficiency the crew decide to record both of them alone.

It’s a studio, the people are on the outside of the recording place, but they can make themselves audible to them but they’re usually separated, they’re in two separate rooms so the mic only pics up the person in the room and not the other producers etc
As an avid voice actor fan, using lollipops is a one of the industry tricks they use for... well... those kinds of scenes. Sometimes, the actors just get creative with it, using their fingers, the back of their hand, etc. This is so funny because at first he doubted it would work then later on he just goes ham with the sounds 😂

It’s so sad how cql fans doesn’t appreciate the real story. I’m here because I watched cql first and it caught my attention but I fell in love with the characters and the story so I decided to read the novel, watch the donghua, the manghua and listen to the audio drama and every adaptation is unique in their own way. Yes, the audio drama is the most accurate (and my favorite i think) but every adaptation makes this story amazing and memorable. Btw, thanks for the video cuz the effort the staff put to make this should be known.
Not all CQL fans are like that, it’s just a handful. Plenty of CQL fans are like yourself but they just quietly assimilate into the MDZS fandom. It’s only the really really outspoken ones that differentiate themselves which is why it seems like a lot. Also I agree, each adaptation brings something new to the table and add to the lore of the original. And partly why each adaptation is so good and well received is because they did it out of love and dedication instead of as a cheap cash grab, at least imo. Np, i really do love the staff and how much they put into this and I think international fans should be able to enjoy the same things chinese fandom can
As much as I loved CQL, that's exactly why I don't really like being around the fans who started off with that. Lots of them (not all) seem to think the live action adaptation is so-called superior when they obviously didn't even read the novel yet claim that it's closer to the "source material" when audio drama's clearly more accurate. Plagiarism my ass. Both are mere adaptations of the same novel, and if they want to pick one over the other using accuracy as an argument, it's obvious which one's better. Which one came out first? Technically, the audio drama did, so they can't use that shit either. But of course they don't care because they didn't bother to check and make a clown out of themselves.
It’s the first experience bias yknow? Donghua was my first experience and I still think season 1 is pretty good even though I can now understand why the novel fans said it couldn’t live up to the original ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ CQL fans really shouldn’t barge into other peaceful adaptations like this tho imo

Basically, they dragged their purist and easily-triggered attitudes from their other fandoms into this one, which is honestly annoying as fuck. A writer has deleted all their accounts because of anon hate, and many creators in this fandom has put themselves on private or even deleted their works for the same reason, caused by these group of people.

( or they did scold him bts idk) they take things really nicely and kept the workspace positive instead of telling others off, man I wish I work in such a relaxed workspace too
The seiyuu industry, like all entertainment industries definitely have their dark side. Also asian culture, many fo the things are behind the scenes and will never be seen or heard. But it’s fun to see the human side of it. I’m pretty sure one of the times Shimono was late was because his company told him the wrong time lol.

I really highly recommend buying the series it’s only a few dollars and there’s guides on how to purchase it and you can support all their hard work. I’m slightly iffy with suggesting you watch it for free as they have mentioned how sad and uncomfortable they were with people viewing it through non legal means. They also mentioned that if you try to contact the team about not being able to afford it they might be able to chip in and help. But in the scenario where you can’t afford at all KittyKat2010 on tumblr may be the solution to your problems.
QianYing Z yea I get that, it’s fine! I started out watching for free too but I went back and bought the series when I was able to. It’s much easier cos it’s online and with an Iphone you can get the series with Apple’s micro transactions. Plus it’s really only like $7 USD lol

It will automatically convert for you and you can buy it with the same way you use micro transactions. There isn’t a physical version but once you buy the series it’s yours forever and you can download it.

It really depends! I didn’t know it was like this either until they released the bts. It really depends on the studio that’s making it and this one decided that having them do it seperately would be the best way. And I think both of them are professional enough to be able to pull it off even standing next to each other, even if the staff might be more highly than usual lmao.

It’s a studio, the people are on the outside of the recording place, but they can make themselves audible to them but they’re usually separated, they’re in two separate rooms so the mic only pics up the person in the room and not the other producers etc

As an avid voice actor fan, using lollipops is a one of the industry tricks they use for... well... those kinds of scenes. Sometimes, the actors just get creative with it, using their fingers, the back of their hand, etc. This is so funny because at first he doubted it would work then later on he just goes ham with the sounds 😂

It’s so sad how cql fans doesn’t appreciate the real story. I’m here because I watched cql first and it caught my attention but I fell in love with the characters and the story so I decided to read the novel, watch the donghua, the manghua and listen to the audio drama and every adaptation is unique in their own way. Yes, the audio drama is the most accurate (and my favorite i think) but every adaptation makes this story amazing and memorable. Btw, thanks for the video cuz the effort the staff put to make this should be known.
Not all CQL fans are like that, it’s just a handful. Plenty of CQL fans are like yourself but they just quietly assimilate into the MDZS fandom. It’s only the really really outspoken ones that differentiate themselves which is why it seems like a lot. Also I agree, each adaptation brings something new to the table and add to the lore of the original. And partly why each adaptation is so good and well received is because they did it out of love and dedication instead of as a cheap cash grab, at least imo. Np, i really do love the staff and how much they put into this and I think international fans should be able to enjoy the same things chinese fandom can

As much as I loved CQL, that's exactly why I don't really like being around the fans who started off with that. Lots of them (not all) seem to think the live action adaptation is so-called superior when they obviously didn't even read the novel yet claim that it's closer to the "source material" when audio drama's clearly more accurate. Plagiarism my ass. Both are mere adaptations of the same novel, and if they want to pick one over the other using accuracy as an argument, it's obvious which one's better. Which one came out first? Technically, the audio drama did, so they can't use that shit either. But of course they don't care because they didn't bother to check and make a clown out of themselves.
It’s the first experience bias yknow? Donghua was my first experience and I still think season 1 is pretty good even though I can now understand why the novel fans said it couldn’t live up to the original ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ CQL fans really shouldn’t barge into other peaceful adaptations like this tho imo

( or they did scold him bts idk) they take things really nicely and kept the workspace positive instead of telling others off, man I wish I work in such a relaxed workspace too
The seiyuu industry, like all entertainment industries definitely have their dark side. Also asian culture, many fo the things are behind the scenes and will never be seen or heard. But it’s fun to see the human side of it. I’m pretty sure one of the times Shimono was late was because his company told him the wrong time lol.

I really highly recommend buying the series it’s only a few dollars and there’s guides on how to purchase it and you can support all their hard work. I’m slightly iffy with suggesting you watch it for free as they have mentioned how sad and uncomfortable they were with people viewing it through non legal means. They also mentioned that if you try to contact the team about not being able to afford it they might be able to chip in and help. But in the scenario where you can’t afford at all KittyKat2010 on tumblr may be the solution to your problems.

QianYing Z I can’t remember exactly but it’s around there, definitely less than $10 per season. With an iPhone all you need to do is download the app and choose which season to buy. It will automatically convert for you and you can buy it with the same way you use micro transactions. There isn’t a physical version but once you buy the series it’s yours forever and you can download it.
