You know I've read the book twice, the first time I let the book lead my imagination, but the second time I tried to imagine what Lan Zhan was thinking, was very interesting to try to figure things out. Like: when exactly did Lan Zhan fall for Wei Ying?... It's a good mind exercise.

Evelyn Z my first experience was the donghua then the novel so it was much just imagination to me at first. Then the other adaptations like the audio drama and CQL so when I went back to re read the book it was definitely all mashed together lol
