Hi i have a question. I am not actually Edo, but Esan, and i know they two languages are very much connected similar to how english and Scots are connected. Since i was born overseas, i do not speak esan. However, i do want to learn my native tongue. Is it advicable to learn the Edo language before the Esan language, since i am not fimiliour with any nigerian language? Because i don't really know which should be the most handiest for me.
I‘d advise you to start with Esan. There are some Esan channels here on TH-cam and on Instagram. Able Mabel is one. Izesan is another one. All the best!
