I would love to see this Climax to come back to life for service in Roaring Camp for passenger train rides.

Can’t wait to see that climax restored, if it can do this with no prior maintenance, the restoration of the running gear may be more cosmetic than functional, the rest of the loco needs just a wee little bit of work 😂

Are they going to add onto the shed or is the Bloomberg leaving Roaring Camp? Very exciting! I have been waiting for this to happened sine the 80s!
I assume they'll add onto the shed, since Roaring Camp would probably want examples of all three geared locomotives in operation.
And if they don't add onto the shed, they may use her on the SCBT&P, since Bloomberg is actually currently a standard gauge locomotive, and would need to be regauged (Dixiana and Tuolomne also used to be standard gauge locomotives).
After Bloomberg is restored, I assume they'd next turn their attention to Daisy, the other steam locomotive sitting behind the shed.
That is an interesting thought, I wonder if the city would give them any trouble running a steam engine along the boardwalk.
I don't recall them objecting to the Chiggen.

Since the Climax is now part of the non-profit, it would need to be in a separate shed. The non-profit and the for-profit can not have any affiliation. It remains to be seen where the new shed will be built and when it'll happen. Also a slight correction. The Climax is currently 48 inch gauge, not standard 56 1/2 inch gauge. No matter which line it runs on, it'll need to be re gauged.
