- I love visiting the beautiful town of Garmisch-Partenkirchem. Although there are tons more to do in Garmisch I had decided to share five of my favorite things in Garmisch.
I love sharing with my friends, family, and anyone out there in the TH-cam World my travel to Garmisch and anywhere in the beautiful country of Germany/Bavaria.

I have to take my family to the Zugspitze as well one day. I have been there with my parents, some 40ish years ago. I have never been back up there... thanks for showing off my beautiful home country!

Great tips on things to do in GaPa. BTW Fraundorfer also served some pretty decent spaghetti (not eis). Our first time there someone in our party was a bit tired of the heavy Bavarian meat diet and order spaghetti much to the amazement of our hosts who insisted we eat there for it's ambiance/entertainment and 'typical' Bavarian fare. We all enjoyed a good laugh.
HEHEHEEEee, never thought of having pasta at a bavarian resturaunt lol lol. However, that is good to know if anyone in my party not wanting the heavy bavariona meal. I love the Froundofer as I have been eating there for years :). Thanks for the tip and thanks for stopping by :) :) :).

I skied the Zugspitze in 1993; going back in May 2023. I can’t wait to show my wife. Go Gators!

My favorite place on earth! I was blessed to live there for two years. My last visit was December 2022 before doing a Danube River Christmas Market cruise.

Yes, in the winter time and even into June the zugspitze is covered in snow. I looooovvvvve it. I am looking forward to be on the Zugspitze in the near future and I will take it all in :). Hello, great video. We are planning a visit to garmisch in September. If staying in the town, what is the best way to get to the five top things that you mentioned? Do you need a car or is there transportation in town? Thanks!
Thank You so much for the kind words. I absolutely love the Garmish-Partinkirchen area as it is an automatic go-to area when I visit Germany. In all of Germany, public transportation is a masterpiece. However, having a car in the Garmisch area is a plus but not necessary for visiting the areas in Garmisch. You can reach everything in the area by walking, bus or taxi. I would love to schedule a time to talk in the very near future and I can rattle off some areas that I label as a "Must See".
