Hi, Bonnie! I’m in Chattanooga, TN and I re-watch these episodes daily and I never get tired of them! English comedies have a sophisticated yet hilarious tone American comedies have rarely achieved. Take care!

Yes, it's very sad that they are all gone now. But what a legacy they've left us. These episodes have been lifting my spirits for years, sometimes with nothing else would do so. That's very special gift of healing and happiness, and hopefully a comfort as well to the friends and family who knew the actors in life.

After this show ended five of the original actors/characters appeared in "Are You Being Served Again", where they have retired to a country manor they have collectively inherited from Grace Brothers. Both Trevor Banister and Frank Thornton later joined the cast of "Last of the Summer Wine". John Inman went on to do a show of his own with Vivian Johnson who played young Mr. Grace's nurse and Josephine Twesome as his half sister. Josephine also has to her credit, the nervous neighbor to Hyacinth Bucket (Bouquet), in "Keeping Up Appearances" and the lonely Librarian in "Last of the Summer Wine".

This is the absolute best fit for a suit if you're in a circus! I can't stop laughing 😂. So, he's very happy with the collar of the suit jacket..,well, that's the highlight of his day.

The music of the opening of the show are one or my earliest memories of television staying up with my dad. Thanks for posting it.

Have the whole series on DVD and the takeoff series when they had the hotel too run . That I found at times bit strained for laughs sincerely . But when bit blue or down and in need a good full belly laugh , always too I came back to see cpl episodes . And still find new points of laughter , guess just pends my moods at the time . And also have the movie they did years ago . Being caught in a revolution while on holidays !

One of the best shows ever. Shame that the world is so woke these days. Shows like this will never be made again.

I remember the first time I was introduced to this show in '95. There was a lineup of four British comedies on PBS that I would watch every night and this was my favorite amongst the four, although I loved "Keeping Up Appearances" and "Chef!." I can't remember the fourth one but it was must watch television for those two hours. This brings back a lot of memories.
