@@dangelohartley5977 well, I think you already know this, but whenever acid kills them, the males turn into skeletons, while the females apparently only get their clothing removed first, and was close to having their private parts being seen, but was censored by acid.

Why
Metal slug 3 was the first one I actually had on console and when I got nommed on by the red plant I clearly remember spending a good couple days jumping into attacks just to see the different animations. Truly a magical franchise.
In 2009, the first playstation 2 game I bought was all of the SIX metal slug in 1 disc and I remember me and my brother play like 8 hours to finish them. The horror this game gives when you're like 8 10 year-old is terrific and nostalgic.
The fact that enemy soldiers will laugh at you when they kill you, just make you feel awful for get kill by small fry
Just started replaying the games recently with the Metal Slug Tactics announcement that came out. Surprised to see how violent the game actually was, with all the screams of death and whatnot. It's not particularly gory or anything, but still pretty violent with all the blood and varieties of deaths, although a bit cartoonish. But still, didn't remember it being that violent as a kid.
We played super violent games, people are just too used to cartoony Fortnite like games these days
I remember dying with the normal death getting shot only. Never expected to see other types of death..
Some arcade machines have different settings in the service menu that's triggered with the dip switch. It's where you adjust the difficulty, number of lives, blood, etc. That's why some House of the Dead arcade machines have gore and red blood, others have green blood and others don't have blood or gore.

As a kid, the blood in the arcade versions was white so it didn't look as gory.
After playing Metal slug my whole life...didnt realize the man eater pollen grew from the inside out. The animation was so fast for me now that I play back in slow motion, its horrifying
I was horrified and fascinated by it too! My channel has three videos about it in my channel. I made them when I was kinda bored and experimenting with the vine seed deaths on Fio and Eri.
That's the most horrifying death for me. I needed a few seconds to process what happened after it got me the first time.

I remember playing metal slug 3 when I was really young (I wanna say like 4-5) and the only things I remember from it was the zombie level and all the characters. Watching this video was a huge nostalgia trip, and I'm just now realizing how freaking good and expressive the character sprites are.

Incase no one notice, 13:15 death animation also terminator reference
One of the best metal slug videos I love....not because of our favourite dudes and waifus dying but their death animations and their screams.
The acid doesn't seem to hurt Eri and Fio skin that only their clothes melt leaving them naked causing them to scream in terror before dissolving into green acid puddles while Marco and Tarma entire bodies melt to only skeletons before they dissolve into green acid puddles as well.
The crabs claws count as "cut by blades" animation just like when rebel army and ptolemaic army kill you with knives and machetes and Arabians, Japanese and Pirates swordsmen kill you with swords, the death animation "cut by blades" occurs with the Metal Slug 3 mission 1 and mission 4(maggot, crab, bug, snail, acid route) big crabs claws.
You missed the "drowning in water" death animation and man/woman eater spore eating Ralf, Clark and Leona death.
Acid on men: melts all
Acid on women: melts only clothes
Also acid on men: becomes Skeletor
What I like about that Ralph is the the only character can have 2 lives

Giant fish death is one of the best wtf moment of my youths. It was so funny I kept jumping into the water to replicate it.

Fio's standard back flop death hurts the most to see. Her cap comes off and her ponytail comes undone as she lies on the ground. Her underwater death also hurts to see.
This brings back so much memories. I remember saving all the grenades until I could get the character zombified on purpose, and use the "grenade" function only after that.
I didn't know there were so many animations. I only really seen (or noticed) the standard deaths and I've been playing the game since it dropped in the arcades.

Oh about time! A modern Metal Slug series Death Animation video from Banden! The Man Eater and Vine Seed deaths from Metal Slug 3 is one of my favorites, especially when Fio or Eri touches one of the floating Man Eater seeds! That death is the most strangest out of all in the Metal Slug series! I made three videos of it in my own channel since it is so horrifying, weird, and unnatural like the Acid Death ones! I was experimenting around in the Arcade Archive version of Metal Slug 3, in fact a single seed can kill two characters in one if they're close together back to back! They both burst into squirming mass of vines that immediately dies, since the seed grows Man Eater vines inside their bodies and burst out from their belly buttons until they get absorbed from it leaving melted vines as what left of their remains along with their hat/accessories and ripped vests...

Feel rather... Inspiring (?) That the main characters still determined to complete the mission (and most likely still fight alongside their non-turned allies), despite being turned into a zombie
te falto incluir la muerte cuando los hombres de nieve te golpean con su hueso cuando estas en forma de muñeco de nieve, tambien cuando te transforman en mono y luego eres mono de manera permanente, tambien muerto en en espacio.
Seria genial si subes un video de las animaciones de los personajes cuando no hacen nada o cuando no los mueves tales por ejemplo en el caso de marco y tarma beben su agua de su cantimplora o cuando llaman por radio, en caso de fio ella hace un picnic y come su sandwich, etc.
tambien si subes un video las animaciones de los personajes cuando hacen sus poses de victoria como en caso de marco y tarma que tienen su estilo unico, fio hace el simbolo de amor y paz, eri solo salta de emocion, ralf cuando hace su pose de victoria al estilo kof asi como tambien sucede con clark y leona. For me the most brutal death that kinda disturb me since i play Metal slug was the Huge grasshopper stage 1 bridge at the Metal Slug 3 and the second one is the acid spit of Snail
If it wasn't for the pixel comical theme of the game, the deaths would've been graphic when you think about it.
