My mom used to get so angry when I would leave my bed and go sleep with my dog. She would separate us by rooms, but I always found a way to find Nicka. I hadiher till I was 18 and she was 15. I'll never forget that bond and I'm 62. I hope these two the very best!!
I fostered a staffie who was crate trained for bedtime. My youngest fell in love w her!! So much so, when I would peek in before I went to bed, Hannah would usually be sleeping on my daughters double bed and my kid would be in the crate!!😂😂😂
This is my little brother and my dog. Constantly separating them(just due to size difference I trust them both) and 5 minutes later they are cuddled up on the sofa again. Neither of them understand my concerns they are like 2 peas in a pod lol!
I found a staffy pup in a parking lot emaciated with a broken tail in 3 places. She was tiny! I took her to work with me, nursed her back to health. She became our preschool dog and protected any child that came I to my facility. She was the beat dog ever. I'll never have a sweet girl like her again. I miss her😢
@@Lawlzinator You obviously know less than nothing about dog behavior. That dog is being completely submissive to even the baby by laying on its back and exposing its belly to the baby. Typical idiot.
I had had a staff, looked exactly the same. As Odin. He was the best thing I've ever owned. He was so intelligent & loving. My 1st son was born in my dogs later years but he loved him straight away. He would lie at my sons feet so he could always feel my son. We always made sure he was never left out. My daughter cam along soon after but sadly my dog died. My daughter has many allergies even dogs that aren't supposed to effect people with allergies effect my daughter. She's a big dog lover like myself. Meaning it's really frustrating for the both of us to not be able to get another Staffy.
My mate was allergic to dogs but the more time he spent with them it eventually stopped so it might be a good thing to get another dog to strengthen her immune system staffys are great I love my boy Quattro
Its the best when they pamper you when youre pregnant and dont leave your side. My honey bun used to curl around my belly everynight and would always stay by my side. I miss her so much. RIP honey ❤
You can't get much cuter than this. My favorite part was that little bit when Oden was laying on his back and Rio was laying on his stomach right next to Oden. That was adorable.
That kids had a FULL head of hair! Not sure when the last time I saw a head of hair like that on a baby less than a year old! ........ and the dog's cool too! Lil homie has the best friend and body guard a kid could ask for!
Staffies/Pitbulls are not nor were they ever "nanny dogs". That lie has been thoroughly debunked. NO DOG should be interacting with a baby like that - especially this kind of dog.
At first glance I miss read the title of this video as, "Staffy doesn't know how to FEED his little brother", and I'm thinking, "No wonder, his digits are too short and he doesn't have opposable thumbs!". Miscues can be funny, lol.
This comment may be highly disturbing for some but needs to be said . About a year ago where I live , a new mum/mom left her new baby in a room by itself with 2 pitties . She went into the room and found the 2 dogs eating the babies face . The little one died . PLEASE , do not leave babies or children alone with dogs .
@@mesprit2008 Staffordshires? You mean Pit Bulls weren't called Nanny Dogs, though they took the moniker to prevent people from been scared of them. But I'm happy to be wrong, I'll check further on it.
@@mesprit2008@mesprit2008 yeah, I didn't mean actually functioning as a "nanny", but I mean they were called that because of their attitude with children. Now if you're saying they were never called that because that wasn't something they were called, I'd be interested in that.
Thank you! Amidst the “Aww, how sweet” postings suddenly a voice of reason is heard. Prepare to be besieged, however, by vitriol emanating from those who do not understand canine pack behavior.
Nice story, but, I would not have let my baby have the dog so close up in its face until the child was a toddler. Glad everyithng worked out for the family.
When my youngest daughter got pregnant, I bought a doll that cried like a baby. We would hold it, play w it and " feed" it to get my pittie Cassie used to the noise and us being distracted, since Cass hadnt really ever been exposed to anyone under 12 before. She was totally in love w my grandson when he was born! Sadly, each time she would lick his face, I would say " aw, Cassie is giving you kisses". Yea, he was going to visit his grandpa 1 day and i asked for a kiss goodbye. Yea, i got my face licked bigtime 😂😂😂 Thankfully my daughter was able to teach him proper kisses for humans 😂

that's why they call staffies 'nursing dogs'.
So heartwarming to see this gentle dog and how he feels about his baby brother. Not an ounce of aggression. Just beautiful.

Staffy's were known historically as the "Nanny Dogs" due to their love of people and especially children.
They were never nanny dogs, it's a myth
