Yes, distilled water great to have around for topping off car batteries too. A dk. Green 1967 fastback was almost my first car in 1985 but by the time my Dad drove me to the town he saw it parked at and I called the # a buyer was signing the paperwork. I got my 1974 Opel Manta (green too) soon after instead...oh well.
@@AndrewDoesCarStuff The knife twister was that it was mint, and $2,500. I have my 70 Chevelle SS 502 for such purpose ($3,700 in '96) but still cherish the Manta as you know. Can't wait for the mountain drive remake!
I was so stinking excited to think that you were really unearthing a 1968 fastback and doing a full on detail
I wish! This was much easier though 😄
Gorgeous job and such a well done video! I have a bunch of models that could use some love. Looks better than it did from the factory!
Thank you! 😁
Nice! Was that a Bburago F40? My first model car back in 1987.
Yes it was! I have a few Bburago's and they are some of my favorites.
Great video, Andrew! It certainly turned out awesome!
Cheers Mike!

Dang! The fastback would have been a much better investment in the long run, but at least the Manta gets about double the gas mileage 😁
