Cole was not good before this game. This time he imploded. So "sticky stuff" must hv contributed and he fleeced the Yankees for 320mil. Everybody is fleecing the team from stanton, severino, hicks, ellsbury etc. Cashman must be fired.
Don’t get your hopes up about anything significant happening. With the amount of teams they are chasing down right now I’m not expecting a huge trade that would put them over the threshold. I do see some guys getting moved and leaving the team but I don’t necessarily see anyone huge coming in
I see a similar thing to 2016 happening here. Getting rid of some players to give some of these younger guys a chance at playing. I think they need to see where they truly are as a franchise and see what they have to work with. I mean giving guys like florial, wade, gittens regular reps in the big leagues. Time to move on from guys like gardner, frazier, monty, taillon among others. Move gleyber back to second where clearly he is more comfortable we see the defense at shortstop getting to him just like it did Gary Sanchez. Just put players in the best position for them to do there best
This should be like 2016 year do the overhaul this time Cashman is part of the exodus he makes bad moves yes he’s made some good but in reality he’s not a good GM Gene Michael and George Steinbrenner made those five rings happen regardless of what anyone says and it looks like Cashman was to stubborn to learn when he had a chance it’s time the Yankees upgrade or it’ll be a long drought.
Stick was The man and I agree. But I want to just add Bob Watson's name to give him some credit as well. He was only the GM for two years but in that two year span brought in a few key pieces to that Dynasty like Tino Martinez, Cecil Feilder, Jeff Nelson, Mike Stanton, Graeme Lloyd, Joe Girardi, Luis Sojo, David Wells, Tim Raines, Charlie Hayes and a few more.
But what kind of adjustments can Boone make? Cole has a personal catcher which means Gary won't play because they have to play Stanton. The outfield is a joke but they aren't showing any interest in dropping anyone for the young blood in the minors. The starting rotation after number one is sooooo unreliable. An offense that just can't score unless the ball goes over the fence will not win anything....and right now they aren't even hitting it over the fence, at least not enough to win multiple games. Gleyber looks completely lost and there doesn't seem to be a single person there who can help him
Cole had a bad outing today, but even if he did have a good outing, I don't think the Yankees would have won today. The offense keeps letting them down. They did this entire series, and they have been doing so for most of the season.
With all due respect. Pitching is not this ball club's problem. It has never been the problem. The notion that we need more pitching is a red harring which distracts from the real problem with this team; which is the offense. With the kind off bullpen that we have, when healthy, all we really need is five or six innings from starts and we should be ok as long as we have the lead. The problem is the offense. We've never had a good offense whatsoever. WE were able to hide that fact when the ball was juiced because the juiced ball lead to the Yankees hitting a lot of home runs; which hid a lot of this teams flaw. Now that they've deadened the ball we have been expose because our reliance on the long ball has proven to be a liabilty because we can not do anything else to score runs. We don't, we don't hit behind runners. And we give away far too many outs by strike out and hitting into double plays. That has been a problem that has plagued this offense for two decades and has NEVER been fixed. The pitching on the other hand has been good enough. Even if we had Koufax and Drysdale I don't think that we'd be championship material because we don't have hitting. We don't have an offense. To paraphrase the late great Myron Cope, we ain't scoring as many runs as them what we is playing.
Ketel.....max......and Adam Frazier....,all three need to come to Bronx or we can just kiss season goodbye.....Gardner Frazier wade deivi gotta go somehow......get it done Brian trashman
We are a mish mosh of players with no cohesion or actual structure. How many players do we have playing out of their natural position? Our record isn’t helped by idiot ManFred changing the way pitchers train and pitch in the middle of the season. Let’s do a soft rebuild. Sell a bunch of players and get back talent and prospects. We can’t win with this current group of players and with this management
I hate to admit it, red sox fans are correct. Yankees suck! Yankees suck! This team if you want to call them that is pathetic. I’m getting ready to cancel my mlb.
Yankees are turning into the Dallas Cowboys
you did not dissapoint
Glad I went golfing today
As soon as the Yankees went down 4-0 game was over.
Fire Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman now

@@pinstripedynasty6117 Bob Watson was incredible I don’t think 96 happens without him. Completely agree with you.

Do we start a entire full rebuild or anything or what u think were doing?
they never ever do that, if they sell off it will be a few key pieces, but never more than that. they always reload.
AS OF TOFAY EVERYONE SHOULD BE ON THE TRADING BLOCK EXCEPTION FOR DOMINGUEZ
Do we need to rehash this disaster.
I quit watching the game after 6 to 0
Were done..... atleast bring up some rookies... I spent 130$ on mlb.tv to watch the Yankees.. id rather watch rookies than this bunch
So much wrong with this baseball team. Front office decisions, management, and on the field. Everybody deserves so much blame.
