I’ve got 2013 model, I took out my load leaves and left it at that, a lot softer in the rear now, I don’t carry massive loads or tow anything so I can get away with not having them in there
I'm new in this sort of stuffs, so I got a question to ask. Do I need major changes towards my front suspension such as control arms etc when swapping my standard coil springs to a lifted 2" springs? I heard stock control arms has a limited adjustment on the wheel alignment especially on the upper control arm when lifted to 2" up. Hope you'll reply, I'm taking baby steps in lifting my Hilux but need a little bit more research.
awesome content dude! we have the same truck I just got mine recently it used to belong to my dad and had it stored for years tryna clean it up as of now and planning on starting with the mods around next month. On here tryna get some ideas with the stuff u do with the truck lol Cheers!

@@reubenwright7522 yea ok, I'm pretty sure I have 28 or 29 inch tiers at the moment so if I go 31 or even 32 I should get a decent amount of clearance?

Why did you put ring below the coil spring? Is it not 2 inches spring?
What shackles did you end up going with?
hey what size and offset are your rims and tires?
hows the suspension holding up? was looking at the foamcells but im not sold on them based on what ive heard
Sold the car few months ago, but they were pretty good, nice ride, they definitely settled a bit over the year,

as far as i know, you don't need to upgrade your arms or anything, my car drives like an arrow after alignment, it also has big mud tyres

31s fit easily mate, ive got 32s on with no problems and had 31s on beforehand

@@damagecase3271 nah dude bigger tyres do raise the height of your, how much bigger in radius your tyres are will lift your car that much.
