I moved to Riverside CA about a year and a half ago... I kept my car running with AZ license plates until they expired..Long story short, I had tons of drama trying to pass the California Smog test on a 2017 NIssan!!! , No check engine light , car is as smooth as new, it simply says O2 sensor is not ready. I'm a little surprised by that. My harley xg500 can do 110 in a full tuck and 95 with me sitting straight up. Yeah I have a tiny useless windscreen but it does nothing. I honestly like the bike but doesn't seem it will be and do better than my harley.
Yea I wanted to give a fair shakedown so anyone watching could be the judge. I'm sure with a sprocket change the bike would do 75-80 but something about it just didnt feel right at those speeds. The XG's are great bikes and look awesome.
@@Corey_Vlogs…. Are you seriously this dishonest? Watch the other videos people doing 95-100mph on the scrambler. You were riding someone else’s brand new bike. Of course you didn’t give it a fair all out power test. It has 70 miles on it.
My brother calling me dishonest is wild lol. The bike was shaking like a leaf on a tree at 80... I said it would go faster but you definitely wouldn't want to cruise at those speeds. I've rode plenty of fast bikes and this is not one that you want at 100mph...@@WilliamWBG
@@Corey_Vlogs ….. what is the purpose of a 500cc scrambler? Stick to honest reviews vs biased opinions and your channel might have a chance. As other commenters have suggested…… maybe you should stick to reviewing track bikes.
The new Hondas look so generic to me. So much black like why? No character at all to them compared to the their old CB’s. I’m sure they run great like most Hondas but the looks are so plain.
Yea man my KLX will also hit 85 lol but when this thing hits 85 it starts vibrating a lot and just doesn't like it at all. I'm sure you can tuck in and really send it and get it up to 95 maybe 100 but it just doesn't feel right at all. It has plenty of power down low so I'm guessing the sprocket up front or in the back could be changed to get more top end.
@@Corey_Vlogs good idea on the sprocket, I’m more about acceleration that top speed personally but I would like to be able to keep up with traffic without being tapped out. But I only weigh 140lbs so maybe it’ll be a bit faster under me?
This is a more subdued version of the Ducati Scrambler. The main difference between the two is ease of maintenance and power of course. You pay to have a Ducati, but the power range is incredible. The 803 is not even a conversation in terms of power comparison. This bike is fine, BUT in terms of fun and long term ownership, this is more for subdued personalities who aren't concerned about too much fun.
What’s funny my friend the one that bought this also bought an mt03 the same day and boy do those things rip!!!! Totally different power band than the 500 for sure! And hahahaha it’s wild out here in fl 😂

I was interested in this till that highway run you did. I mean I get 55mpg at 80-90mph and I ride highway everyday to work. 55 mile round trip and my bike might be making 36hp and 30tq at 508lbs wet.
The CB500X is a much better looking bike. I just can't get past the weird Rebel tanks.
The new Hondas look so generic to me. So much black like why? No character at all to them compared to the their old CB’s. I’m sure they run great like most Hondas but the looks are so plain.
@@daniel-eg2oq And I look at that and wonder how you can toss some saddle bags on.
@@dalesworld1308yeah I’m sure it’ll get some impulse buys but I’m not sure what it offers that other bikes even other Hondas don’t do better.
I Disagree
Agreed.I never did get the whole scrambler thing.I never knew anyone that owned one.CB 500x over this imo.
Lol Florida. You should come to Texas and see how fast they drive
Hahaha
@@Corey_Vlogs lol nice grind
Safety orange 🍊
Top speed of 85?? That can’t be right can it? My crf250L will do 80
Yea man my KLX will also hit 85 lol but when this thing hits 85 it starts vibrating a lot and just doesn't like it at all.
Looks like they took a lot from the Honda rebel
A lot yes! It’s nearly the same just seat and bars lol even the naked frame looks a lot a like
👍🏻🙏🏻😀
How is 90 not a thing when my stock mt03 is pulling that easy to get through the dummies? Fl man here and yes we do 70 in a 45. 😅
What’s funny my friend the one that bought this also bought an mt03 the same day and boy do those things rip!!!! Totally different power band than the 500 for sure! And hahahaha it’s wild out here in fl 😂
Jax much?
I do have the teenie winshield😂
nope... In comparison to everything else, it's not worth it..
All Hondas are worth it 😏.
This bike needs a 600rr engine in it.
Haha it would be a ripper for sure.
Top speed is 130 mph
Not even almost lol
The CBR500 will top out around 112 and it's the same engine, just a slightly lower tune. This will never reach 130
Maybe once...over a cliff 😮
Going downhill and wind on your back😂
Is it worth it? No. The Honda CB500X is much better.
I mean to be fair they are different bikes but I could see why someone would choose either.
You get on the highway without a windshield and you're SURPRISED that the wind is hitting you at oh..... 70MpH???
Not surprised just letting the viewers be aware of what it's like.. sorta like a review almost if you will.
“Can this thing go on the highway idk if it can do 70”… get outta here with your goofy self. The rebel 300 does 80 so of course this thing can do 70. SMH
I said it has a top speed of 80+ but it starts vibrating at 70-75mph I’ll be sure to add subtitles on the next video with a clear understanding of what I’m saying for you next time 🙏🏼
@@Corey_Vlogs starts vibrating… that ain’t good. My 300 doesn’t do that even at 85mph.
