Job quota..... Promotion quota ..... appearing in exam for job max age limit with cut off date....Even for child its now with cut off date....So Indian kids never get smart to get advanced education before getting 18....That thing we called as Right to Education.... Education should be meant to capability....not by age with the exact date...Dear politicians just get the same ideology in your age criteria and education qualification for election....😂
Mam, my son dob is 12-1-2018, now he completed 1std and going 2nd std for the FY24-25. Please check and let me know any age criteria issue due to NEP 2020 in his future academics.

I can understand ur concern..
KV and Military school ku March cut off kepaga..But for Normal cbse school ku June 1 the child should be 6+.. So unga child ku June la 4+ irukum for LKG..
Neega school la kandipa ketkalam.. unga child ku LKG ku correct age than.. Ethukum vera schoolayum enquiry panni paarunga..
But as per new NEP the child should be 4+ for LKG in june..
So he eligible oly..👍

Also there some states, wer their academic year starts from April..
For those schools they are following March 31 as the age cutoff..
So for those schools by April 1st they have to complete 6 yrs

As of now the age is ok.. by 2024 oly the new NEP is implementing but some schools are allowing some are not..
But fron 2024 no one will give admission for the children who is below 6 yrs..
For the existing students who is studying 1st 2nd now..
it's purely to the particular school decision oly..
You have to check with the that individual school, wheather they will allow r not

June 1 or Mar 31 which is the cut off for age. Kendra Vidhyalaya calculate the age as Mar 31

It's very difficult to get admission because from 2024 NEP is implementing.. so For nursery 3years must.

Hi the rule implementing In 2025-26 academic year but it's depends on state and school..
Many schools are not accepting and many are accepting.. also some states are not allowing so it's better to check with the school wer u r going to get admission for ur kid..
