Not sure why you would switch the heater if you wanted an actual comparison. The buddy flex has 180 spread so it was never gonna be apples to apples. Kind of wasted our time.
So the reason it didn't work on the last heater is the way you have it set up, the thing that generates electricity (ceramic thing sandwiched between the two aluminium parts) work because it can generate a dc voltage depending on the temperature difference between its two sides, if both sides are hot, or both sides are cold then it won't spin. The way you had it, both sides were pretty hot so it massively reduced its efficiency. The design of the fan blowing air through the top section helps keep it cooler than the bottom section, generating a dc voltage, spinning the motor etc etc
The big fan, the "Foedo" is turning in the wrong direction from what we can see in the video. Maybe it's set up wrong from the factory because it is pushing air towards the heater instead of out. You could change the polarity of the wires to the dc motor or try to bend the blades to the opposite angle.
What if you put these stove fans on top of a clay pot heaters. Will the fan turn on, they should do two test to measure the temperature. 1 test with the fan and the other test without the fan.
Wow, the ignorance is thick with this one. the fans run on a Peltier chip, which works by the theory of thermodynamics. one side of the chip is hot, one side is cold. the chip converts the difference into electricity, which turn the blades. by heating up the whole fan, you only accomplished a meltdown of the wires.
No science all guesswork review≥ You would compare the mass of the units (weight) which will convert the heat to mechanical action do they use bearings? lubricated shaft?? You are not ducting the heater to warm up. timer but no thermometer to spot test the turning blades after x minutes of exposure for optimum time to get max heat? no wind force (air flow meter) measurement I guess everything is a badboy

I weep for our future.

Good to know! Thanks for that input! I’ll have to add that into the next video!

You should keep that top part away from the heat.....
I generates power from temperature differences

Try them both at the same time on a wood burning stove. . The race is on.

Should have cooled down the first unit then tried the second one..
what a dope.......! why did it melt u dope
For BIG BUDDY heaster, do you recommend trying 2 Signsteks?? Currently about $46 bux. Thanx in advance for your 2 cents on this
