Super awesome breakdown of the mid engagement thoughts. I do this a lot in my head to see if I’m making the right calls on fights. I got my highest kill game of 24 a few days ago.
Literally got 24 kills too w rizzy my record so far, also a few days ago!
The only reason I don't have 4k or 20 bomb is because half the lobby dies in the first minute.
Right Really Its All Luck & RNG!!! An Playing For 12hrs Str8 An Still Might Not Get It!! And I played with a lot of Randoms that had 20 bombs and they were horrible!!!! Can't even remember a time a 20 bomb person impressed me lol somebody with a bronze badge works the hell out of them 😂😂🤦♂️
@@tee-boppin_em8147Depending on your character it can be easier. I'm a wraith main but only have it on Pathfinder because it was easier to control the pace of the lobby with him. Also yeah a lot of people pay for boosting.
Tactics aren't enough when matchmaking is bad on purpose.
This. Ain’t no tactics to prepare you for an entire team that is exponentially just better than you
RNG is just part of the game.

This is what i was thinking, I place against the sweatiest players on the earth and this dudes lobbies look like a cake walk

Oh man, I know what I am doing wrong now. I am not thinking!!! Run-an-gun COD style is what I grew up with and now I have to re-work all that instincts.
One of the main things I learned from this is that I gotta keep an ear out for the sound of a trident approaching.
The only way to get 20 bombs and 4k badges is with bot lobbies, because in EVERY balanced lobby, you would need to be one of the top 750 players or atleast have a crapton of luck.
I love the breakdown mid fights. You should do one for duos. I like solo duo games but I play too scared to fight anyone doing it myself. I’d like to slowly figure out how to 1v2. Maybe you could make a video on thought processes for duos?
Fundamentally 1v2+ is isolating 1v1’s.
You have to think about sightlines, cover and keep track of what your opponents are doing during their downtime (rotating, reloading, looting, healing, ressing).
Usually you’ll need to reset to somewhere where you’ll have an advantage during the fight: door/highground/distance (sometimes hiding while you are being chased and hitting them with the old classic turn and burn)
Some characters are very good for creating space and resetting: horizon/pathy/wraith/loba
While others are better for stopping rotations/cutting off angles: fuze, conduit, gibby, castle, bang, catalyst
The biggest tip is to challenge opponents when they don’t have cover/are climbing up/slide jumping as you’ll have an advantage in those fights

Played a casual pub game yesterday in trios. Ran into a cheater with sticky aim. The most kills I saw the entire night while playing was like 6 kills on a average. This guy had 26 kills and I felt that dreaded sticky bullets as he lazered me from a mile away. Even behind cover he was hitting me. If course I spec him and watched him win the match while the rest of the squad had zero kills
I'ts amazing how you can win so many fights not with crazy movement (crazy aim tho) but just by knowing wich team is doing what. Always very nice vids higghly appreciated !! :)

That was pretty good info and a pretty good experience i'm willing to add to mine next time i play Apex Legends.
But i will say one thing, hopeping sombody will take this to add as a *Nickname* for *Fuse* when somebody Cheeses the His Cluster Bombs aka Firecracker Bombs as a way to flush out Players. Cos i think it's always nice to add some amusement, fun and very clear to how *Fuse* is used mainly for, besides his more useful Ultimate.
Here it is: *!Cheesy Fuse!*. Cos Players on Apex Legends tend to use Fuse to flush out other Players mostly with his *Two Shot Tactical*, so might as well call him *Cheesy Fuse* as a Nickname for him. And is pretty useful for an *Experienced Fuse Player*.
He's a good Legend if the Player uses him really well. So don't get me Wrong to those that take offense with me calling him *Cheesy Fuse*, cos that's what mainly he is mainly used for, for most Fuse Players. So please don't take this offense at all and take this as a *Fun Nickname* to Pass Around please :-).
And i like that Nickname for Him. Makes it more Funny and Fun to throw around when you get that *Cheesy Fuse Player* comes blasting into the Skirmish or Coming after you. And yes i find him a bit annoying, but i think calling him *Chessy Fuse* will make it more Comfortable. and He's fun to use, don't get wrong there either. He's just a bit annoying when someone else uses him besides my Team match up, so calling him that is a good added moral.
And yes i want it to happen with the obvious detail of calling Fuse --- Cheesy Fuse as a Comfortable Nickname to be common. So please make it happen. So we can all be having a little bit more fun with Fuse.
because pubs is fixed I finally feel like I actually have a chance at a 20 bomb. These vids help a lot with explaining the mindset for it. Would love to see more vids like this, maybe one for storm point cus I struggle playing on that map.

this isn't true at all, I stream everything I do on this channel, I don't know why my lobbies have been easier lately but they have ever since the post Malone LTM, before that I had the same experience as stodds, either way it's completely out of my control
Things pros know that they won’t tell you - most of them cheat in some way
My biggest problem is my aim. I get great positions, I’m stealthy and get the drop on people almost every game. I end up being in a position where I shouldn’t lose, but I miss my initial shots so unless they also have bad aim, I’m dead. But as soon as I make a mistake I realize it and get killed before being able to compensate.

Awesome video! I recently (about two weeks ago) started playing Apex as a complete noob and I mean complete noob never played any battle royale type games strictly a COD multiplayer guy. I have ranked up to lvl 60 mostly playing team death match and control modes to work on movement and aiming. I am thinking of giving it up though. My problem is when I try to play BR trio, duo or three strikes I get paired with some high level sweats who just cuss me out for getting melted or not knowing what I am doing or supposed to do and it seems these are the only players I come across. None willing to explain what we are doing and what I should be doing to help the team. My question is should I continue to trudge along being paired with random sweats until I just figure it out on my own or try to solo in duos and get in as many fights as possible until i figure it out on my own or the third option of throwing in the towel and going back to COD even though i dont want to give activision my 70 bucks for the update they are calling MW3. What do you recommend? Or is there any Apex players out there that would take a complete noob under their wing if so hit me up in the replies.
The thought processes are all well and good, but if you're not superfast on the keyboard or controller with excellent muscle memory, anyone with similar half decent game sense will destroy you as soon as you press the fire button. The speed the pros do everything, without thinking, is the main reason why they're so good - the same with any video game
apex only appeals to sweat lords now. there is no hope

I love these videos but I've noticed that around half way through the game you focus up a bit and your commentary gets less detailed
I DO NOT understand why they havent changed Hammond labs / waterfall. It is the worst map design in the entire game. It's such dogshit with the massive open area and uncontestable high ground. surrounded by choke points and placed in the absolute center of the map so that you are almost always forced to rotate through there.
