Perfect. Just got one of these, with no instructions. I said, off to youtube I go. Yours if the first vid and exact sissy bar install vid I found. My hardware kit actually came with 4 nuts and 4 washers, I assume they replace the stock ones. Good vid. Thank you.
Mate. Need some advice. I got the same one from MOTEA. The bar came with the locking mechanism installed in it. So I just have to bolt it up. However the Bar will not detach. I pull the pins back to release / unlock and the thing won’t move. I don’t want to over force it. Any idea why it won’t budge ? Could it due to over tightening ??? Thanks
So, mine was after market. Not direct HD part like this one in vid. I had to make some mods to it, sand down the edges that go over the tail lights. If your locking mechanism is not unlocking, you need to loosen the bolts/screws that mount the lock tabs. Maybe shoot it with some lubricant. Its not an exact fit, at least mine is not. So far mine is in place and I have not removed it since I installed it. But If I do remove, I will have to loosen the locking tab bolt/screws.
The attachable luggage racks I’ve seen are for square tubed sissy bars that were on the earlier Harley’s. Not sure if they make one compatible with these newer round sissy bars.
The shocks are firm even at 0 psi for 220lb rider. So far I would say you would need to be 200+ or two up to benefit. Defiantly feels a little different with the rear higher than the front. I plan to level this out. I'll have to get more miles on them and get back to you.

What the part number on the docking kit
Hi, do the attachments come with the sissy bar, or bought separately? If so, what’s the part number? Thanks.
Docking hardware is sold separately. Contact your local dealer or hit the Harley website for specific part numbers.
@@twinsmotogarage1866 got it - thanks for the reply.
Hey I have a question , can you add a luggage rack to That sissy bar you just added to the bike ?
The attachable luggage racks I’ve seen are for square tubed sissy bars that were on the earlier Harley’s. Not sure if they make one compatible with these newer round sissy bars.
What torx # did you use to remove the stock bolts?
I don't remember. I have a $15 torx bit set from harbor freight that has handled every size torx I've ever needed for a sportster.
Could you get rid of that play ther you had? I had the same issue. Thanks
what's that license plate holder you are using?
I wanna know how the air shocks feel after riding them for a few months? How does it feel above 70 mph too?
The shocks are firm even at 0 psi for 220lb rider. So far I would say you would need to be 200+ or two up to benefit. Defiantly feels a little different with the rear higher than the front. I plan to level this out. I'll have to get more miles on them and get back to you.
Where did you get the front light fairings??

Anyone know how to remove it?
now I have an idea how to do it. an interchangeable sissy bar, one for passenger use and one for logistics/delivery job.
Thats gonna be an easy target for theives
What seat is in this video?
Tacti-Cool Dad Mustang Fastback
Hi, great video. What seat is that. It looks gorgeous. Is it comfortable?
Thanks, the seat is a Mustang Fastback. So far I'm liking it.
Ahh ok so it does fit the 883 thank you so much!!!
Have you tried them with a passenger? I'm kinda worried about the detachable.
Will it not get stolen if you park it someplace unattended?
Link for sissy bar?
Can you measure the size what comes out on the rear light ? Thank in advance
Not sure I understand what you're asking but the rear lights are no longer the same as in this video.
Twins Moto Garage , sorry about that , what i mean was the size of the bushes “mounts” from the docking kit from the sissybar
Where’s this sissy bar from ? Will it fit my 2017 roadster ?
Looks like a Harley brand, they have certain ones for bikes so they should have one for your bike
I just ordered one for my 04 883 it’s the same but chrome any sportster platform after 04 it should fir
Who's bar is that? Is it from Amazon?
Michael Tyus From Harley, the exact part number is in the description.
Bike looks bitchin man! What fairing is that?
James Butler Thanks dude, it’s an XFMT quarter fairing from amazon.
