Your husband is true, Dianna. Your kids don't need english teacher because it's such of waste of money, if you can teach them and they will improve day by day. Multilingual education based on the mother tongue is really powerful.
I think she wants to interact with the teachers better herself and maybe also have a few kids in the class that are not full or part Korean. I wish kindergarten was free. It should be.
I agree with ur point, however International or English schools are usually more multicultural compared to local schools, hence diminishing the chance of bullying.
@@artsyhyd I’m sure you are right. Fair enough. The afghan refugees children were being blocked by Korean parents from attending the regular Korean school. They delayed the enrollment for a short time and now are segregating the kids for 6 months of Korean language and culture class or longer.. ? As an American I am shocked a developed and educated country would do such a thing. A Korean elementary or kindergarten student would just enroll in an American free public school whether on a proper visa or expired tourist visa. The language learners would be in typical classes pulled out for language instruction as available. Not completely separate. Translator hired to communicate with parent’s. The other students would be learning something of Korean culture and not just the newer Korean students learning about America. Hoping some teachers in other classes brave enough to do the same.
You could tell the little girl had been crying all day her little face was so swollen all she wanted to do was go home!!!Now that the kids are in school its good to see the parents talking about getting themselves into self care and interest. That's extremely important when extra time frees up. You are a very cute couple.
@MRS.DR. LOUD PACK wow how do you know ? Were you there? Some kids have different attachment styles and actually there’s been a lot of progress in terms of how people react to other races. Not perfect and it may occur here and there… but to solely blame it on that one reason is absurd. These two kids will be fine, they have a loving supportive korean family and from their mother’s side. I’m sure things will continue to progress from there. I pray that isn’t the case but.. but surely there’s multiple factors, plus even the most multicultural places like the US racism still is prevalent and more apparent. No hate just wondering how you came to that conclusion.
Dianna your hair style today is a must. We are your mirror and I can assure you that you look like a sweet sixteen with tha hair style. Wishing Minji & Jun a happy kindergarten schooling. You all should remain blessed.
I'm glad you and Kyungho are talking about self- care. You both always put the twins first but remember happy parents raise happy children. Thank you for sharing your family's special moments ❤❤❤
I’m glad that Minji and Jun are able to be in the same class. Lucky to have each other. Going to school can be scary for many reasons. Kids should be able to express opinions honestly. And don’t put words into their mouth or have them say what you expect to hear. I just adore your twins and only saying this out of genuine concern . I can remember things kids have said not so nice comments about me being mixed in school and other circumstances . Kids have to learn to deal with problems growing up. I never had anyone to talk to about little incidents where my feelings were hurt. I never told my parents probably because I didn’t want to worry them n kids have to face their own battles. Be the parent where your kids can open up to you about anything. You are great parents and keep up the good work. Providing a happy n loving home environment n positive marriage relationship is the utmost important.by your kids will reap many benefits by seeing how you two communicate and resolve problems. Being mixed has a lot of perks but can have its share of problems but nothing that can’t be resolved.
Kyungho, you are the most thoughtful person to your wife and a caring loving person to your children….you are very patient in speaking with kindness in your voice…Daianna is so fortunate to have you as a husband who stands by you with lot’s and lots for heartwarming kindness.being an outsider in Korea, at least he considered you with loyalty. Ar least he consider you with loyalty wow it's mutual I'm quite sure. Who ever responded before me he's returning respect to his wife, which I'm sure he loves.
Kyungho wants Minji and Jun to be accepted into society and be sociable, Dianna wants the children to excell in their education, seems like two different outlooks but they merge they both want the twins to be achievers. At the age the twins are now vocabulary and socialising are the two biggest takeaways they'll have from the school experience. They are already bilingual they will be fluent as they get older irrespective of the schools they attend and they will embrace their education more as they gain confidence and understanding that this is their new normal. It's hard to see children in distress, Minji wasn't in the mood for change but she got over it and had a good day. I cried and cried my first day of school. But my teacher she made it so I can adapt easily. She used crafts to engage me, and that helped take away allot of my fear. Very thankful for that beautiful teacher, she took me in so easily.
Ah! Kyungho, your children will always noticed especially in Korean society because they are a blend of you and Dianna. Two different cultures and nationalities coming together embodied in your children. You can look on them as pioneers. They will be noticeable in a crowd physically. I understand you want an ordinary good life for them, but no matter how ordinary they are to you like you and their mother they will do a lot of ‘firsts’ and be celebrated for it. I was a child of 1st generation migrants and I looked different to most of the children at my school. People would stop my parents and say how pretty and cute about me and my brother. We also learned to deal with people who didn’t like us because we were different. I pray for these adorable children that God will protect them and also give you wisdom as parents. I hope this school is a good grounding for Jun and Minji and that you both will try to do even once in a few months some pampering. It could be done at home too! Both of you need your own friends to socialise with too. 💛💛
I love how Minji is so expressive...So cute...And Dianna, loving how you did your hair and make up when you picked up the kids from school..Looking super beautiful and refreshed...
Hi Miss Diana...your kids are still small... don't stress yourself too early.. you're doing a great job...enjoy them and let them enjoy you and enjoy learning...many parents push their kids too early ... your kids are normal happy kids for their age range and learning skills.....Listen to your husband... he's wise...trust his judgement too... you'll be fine...maybe it's time to do a date night and take kids to Grandma for a visit...❤🙏🙏
Hello Beautiful family!! Guys, yes kids do cry when they are experiencing new environments but it could be also something else they are trying to express. So please listen to them! Ask them about their day when they get back home. Ask them about their teachers, about other kids. Were people kind to them? Were people being mean to them? yes this, it also just allows the kids to feel like parents are a non judgemental safe space, i wish i had it as a kid. even when parents do everything right, we still hide information from them, so it's best to be proactive and act interested in their day and how it's been (emotionally-wise, not proving for facts, just asking how they felt and, if they want to disclose, what internal or external environment caused that)
Wow!!! 😍 Dianna you looked so stunning, especially in the dialogue @11:17. Your hair looks so good and the braid is done so neet at the hair accessory was so pretty too. Minji looked super duper cute and pretty too! So happy that Jun and Minji seemed to have a pleasant and fun first day. I hope all their days at school are filled with joy and love. Great vlog and great editing! Keep up the fantastic contend Dianna & Kyungho!🥰❤️
I hope kindergarten at the new school continues to be an enjoyable learning experience for both children. Dianna, I hope you find a wonderful women's group in your new community. Kyungho, your wisdom will take you far. ❤️
I was a teacher for 10 years and kiddos usually cry or can be upset for about 3 to 5 days. The great thing is that kids recover faster and better than adults. And they're usually pretty good at making friends. So hang in there. Mom and Dad 💜 And yes, these early years are important with socialization and learning how to be around people. The education will come! Blending both your goals and life are a good thing! 😊
Your kids are adorable and smart. Don’t worry about learning English. They will pick up very quick with Dianna. Just have them enjoy kindergarten age. And be happy.💜
Nope Minji, didn't work this time. 😊 Now Dianna, you jumping on Kyungho's back and he going straight down.. now that's funny! 😅😂🤣 Always great to see you guys. 💖💖💖
KyungHo: 100% agree with Dianna. You should take care of yourself. I know you want to put your family first but never forget to take your physical/mental well-being into consideration. Juggling between work and home is already difficult, you should treat yourself once in a while to destress. Whether it is getting a hair cut or a massage, just get some alone or mommy/daddy time.
When Henry says there’s diversity here with their mom being black, that had me hollering 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Y’all are adorable. As time goes by, my Neice and nephew will find some friends.😘
Minji and Jun are so precious and cute! I too cried just about every day going to kindergarten; bless my mom and teachers for their love and patience lol. The kids will be fine; it just takes a bit of time to adjust.
Great video I loved it when your husband tried to carry you. . Starting a new school is always hard for children. I am glad Minji & Jun was not crying when you guys picked them up.
I get his point that they can save money by going to normal Korean school and just teach the kids English at home, but I get her point too and may I add that usually English or International schools are more multicultural compared to the local schools, hence diminishing the chance of bullying. I was having a good laugh when they talked about the Oscar incident lol 😂
I usually don’t comment on TH-cam but I just discovered your channel. What a beautiful family! I came to the US when I was 5. Watching your daughter cry brought back feelings I felt when I started kindergarten. It was a mix of anxiety away from the parents but being around people different from me. I didn’t speak any English at the time. I didn’t like going to school at all. Overtime, I got over it. It really helped when I started making friends. I felt less different and confident. Regarding the kids learning English- I recommend try to speak English with them as much as possible at home. They will pick up the Korean because they spend the most time during the day speaking/reading/writing Korean. Diana, reading to them lots of English books will be helpful too. Eventually when they are about 3-4th grade some formal English education (even online, just few hours per week) will help with their reading/writing skills if they don’t teach English at school. Speaking the language versus reading/writing is very different.
I celebrate what this brave couple/family is doing this to teach my country , Korea, how to be more international, how to be multicultural. If my kids were going to kindergarten again, I would totally look for a school your kids go. People must understand spending time and sharing values with this family actually makes them grow more competitive , more multicultural, and more international !!
Hoping that Minji continues to enjoy school. A good way to prepare children of her age for new experiences is to speak with them in advance (if possible, the night b4), about what to expect.
I think you guys should acknowledge your kid's feelings by telling them that you understand why they are upset and that due to safety and such , she can't visit her sick friend. Let her know she can hang out with her after her friend is feeling better. By keeping this habit your kids will better acknowledging their emotions and be able to express it clearly and resolve conflict more better than throwing tantrums.
You are brave parents. I remember my first day of school I was so afraid I tried to walk home. I ended up home schooling my kids and I can imagine you having to put them in schools but in the long run they will learn alot and make friends and it will give you a little break Diannia I believe. Just pray for them when you drop them off and stay involved in the school and with the teachers so you will always know how you can best serve. God bless 🥰
Hello, my sweet family; it broke my heart to see my precious little twins cry. They will adjust on time. K, I agreed with Diana to allow the kids to come for a vacation to the US. They will learn faster. I love your family so much, the way you communicate with each other, and how you manage the children. Blessings to you, K and D.
Dianna!!! You are doing a wonderful job and I love seeing your positive energy and your beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your experiences with the world.
Living in New Zealand 🇳🇿 there's definitely more to raising happy heathy children than meets the eye and you go about it in the right way. ✅ Preschoolers transitioning can be challenging and as their primary carer award winner mum watching you handle your children in South Korea your strengths are much to be admired. Your husband is always there to support you. ❤ Cheersto the Lim Family 👪
Minji was so upset. I hope she quickly find friends that support her. It looked like in Daycare she was finally able to find a friend she was comfortable with. Makes me wonder what she went through because her fear is strong.
Beautiful family of luv. I luv seeing parents enjoying their seeds of blessings and sharing expressing their luv covenant Too. Many years of his blessings to his creation of marriage
You can practice and teach them English at home. I taught English as a second language to students from several different language groups. English won't be hard for them. They will pickup it very fast. Great parents.
First I love Minji’s hair. I think there English will be just fine. When they get a little bit older, maybe you can put them in an International school. It’s hard being the only person that looks like you but there are similar couples like you in Korea. You just need to find them. I know it’s easier said than done but there others. Wishing you guys the best!
It's so very fine to see how the children are rising and I hope the family moves closer together as they grow. The parents remember the fun of love they share because the joy of it will always be there. Use each other to take the stress away don't stress each other out. Stay as open minded as you two were when you met and united as a married couple. 😆🤭😄
Dianna you are doing a wonderful job teaching your children English. I did not persist in teaching mine Spanish. I would have loved my little ones being bilingual. Great job and keep doing what you are doing. It’s working! ❤️❤️❤️
A lot of people commenting that the kids can learn English at home are missing the point. YES, the kids can learn to speak and understand English, but they need to learn English grammar, phonics, etc. Unless Dianna is going to sit with the kids for two to three hours a day teaching them, they're going to fall behind. Right now, the twins are ALREADY falling behind in English because they attend a Korean kindergarten. I work for an English school in Seoul, and I'm a kindergarten teacher for the seven-year-old division. The kids are Korean age seven which is international age six. Their kindergarten curriculum is actually U.S. 1st GRADE, and at six they're writing full stories and learning things like irregular plural nouns, realistic fiction, plant parts, etc. The prices for English kindergarten are very expensive, and no NOT international schools, just regular English kindergarten.
So adorable korean culture challenges you only to strengthen you Love yourself first in all things don't allow opinion of you to lower yourself esteem name calling might make you cry because your mom is not korean so what be happy! Even if they are treating you bad or mean or trying to hurt your feelings keep happy no matter what!!! Tough 💘 Love all right
When Minji was crying I wanted to start crying too. I wanted to pick her up and carry her back home. You were very strong. Good job! It's so hard being a parent
With Minji and Jun entering the kindergarten, I hope it will give both Dianna and Kyungho more time to invest on themselves. I hope they can do many activities together in the meantime by themselves such as working out at the gym, learning yoga and pilates, playing golf, grooming for hair and styles, and much more. I believe Minji and Jun will adapt well and fit well at the kindergarten as time goes by. So, I'd like to tell Dianna and Kyungho that don't worry too much and leave it naturally as the time goes by. I would like to see more videos of Jun and Minji making new friends and hanging out together with them.
It’s safe to blend into society as much as it’s great to be healthy and also learn; nothing wrong with blending in and learning. We are always learning even as adults.
“To be happy and blend into society” is what I want for my daughter too - to be well adjusted, to be accepted and to have friends, to find love and live a good life. As a parent, I want that so much for her so I definitely identify with Kyungho feelings. I was also very nervous with each new school and teacher but luckily she was just fine and I think Jun and Minji will be ok too. It takes time to adjust. Once you get to know the teachers you’ll feel more at ease and the kids will be fine. They are already bilingual so I don’t think you have to worry. 💜 Kyungho please don’t slap anybody unless they are physically assaulting your wife. That whole mess was so ridiculous. 😩
I agree with Your hubby that programs are not that necessary , I speak Chinese and only Chinese with my kid and my American hubby speaks English with my kid, I homeschool my kid . My kid speaks Chinese and English like native speakers. Kids can learn naturally at home and I think the best place is home

I hope kindergarten at the new school continues to be an enjoyable learning experience for both children. Dianna, I hope you find a wonderful women's group in your new community. Kyungho, your wisdom will take you far. ❤️
These kids are growing gorgeous by the day
“You’re diversity, I’m diversity!!” I literally started laughing 😂😂😂

Dianna pretty eyes. Dianna pretty smile. Lovely husband and lovely kids
Keep filming these moments for them to enjoy when they grow older
The kids are growing up fast and are so adorable. Minji is getting sooooo cute but then again, she should be the cutest because she's a girl.
Beautiful family ❤️😍❤️
😘😘🙏
So funny- jumping on his back and falling 😆
OMG that piggy back was Everything!
thank you 💜
Omg I'm rolling with laughter,it's the fall, poor guy at least he tried 😭 🤣 😂
I celebrate what this brave couple/family is doing this to teach my country , Korea, how to be more international, how to be multicultural. If my kids were going to kindergarten again, I would totally look for a school your kids go. People must understand spending time and sharing values with this family actually makes them grow more competitive , more multicultural, and more international !!
At least he was kind enough to let her try the piggy back thing. ... And we all fall down!! Lol that was cute. 😜😜😜
Dianna love that hair style
God bless 🥰
She has a beautiful soul, what a wonderful woman
Hello, my sweet family; it broke my heart to see my precious little twins cry. They will adjust on time. K, I agreed with Diana to allow the kids to come for a vacation to the US. They will learn faster. I love your family so much, the way you communicate with each other, and how you manage the children. Blessings to you, K and D.

Lady Diana looks so Beautiful!!! I love that hairstyle Super cute!!!.
You are diversity. I am diversity here 🤣🤣 best line
Living in New Zealand 🇳🇿 there's definitely more to raising happy heathy children than meets
the eye and you go about it in the right way. ✅ Preschoolers transitioning can be challenging

your strengths are much to be admired.
I luv seeing parents enjoying their seeds of blessings and sharing expressing their luv covenant
Too.
Lmao Dianna jumping on Kyungho’s back! Took me out 😩😩😩💀💀💀😂😂😂
It's so very fine to see how the children are rising and I hope the family moves closer together as they grow. The parents remember the fun of love they share because the joy of it will always be there. Use each other to take the stress away don't stress each other out. Stay as open minded as you two were when you met and united as a married couple. 😆🤭😄
Awwwww everything is gonna be just fine.
Been following them since day one love them all ❤️❤️
they're so adorable!!!
OMG how beautiful the children are! And Dianna you are also a beauty 💖
Good job! It's so hard being a parent
ur videos r so cinematic! very comforting and i love seeing y’all’s perspective ❤️❤️❤️
They are growing up, love it!! Love your family 💙💙💙💙
Thank you for the Korean subtitles, as I am studying Korean now and it helps me to learn They are too fast now, but in time, I'll get better.
Love the genuine talk between you too❤️
It’s safe to blend into society as much as it’s great to be healthy and also learn; nothing wrong with blending in and learning. We are always learning even as adults.
The attempted back ride was so funny. 😂😂😂😂😂Thank you for sharing.
Kyungho please don’t slap anybody unless they are physically assaulting your wife. That whole mess was so ridiculous. 😩
Adorable family! Kindergarten is a big adjustment but the twins did well. The yellow school bus was so cute. Dianna’s sense of humor is perfect lol.
It’s so nice to see the family back Dianna you are glowing happy family god bless ❤️❤️❤️
I agree with Your hubby that programs are not that necessary , I speak Chinese and only Chinese with my kid and my American hubby speaks English with my kid, I homeschool my kid . My kid speaks Chinese and English like native speakers. Kids can learn naturally at home and I think the best place is home
okay this is nice some actual anecdotal evidence
Hi Daianna you look beautiful as usual your husband are so sweet Minji and Jun are soooooooo cute you guys are great parents i can’t believe they’re in Kindergarten already and yes please take the time out to take care of yourselves love you guys thanks for sharing🙏🏽
Minji is feeling better
She has her brotherly luv and support tu comfort his sibling
Hopefully she adjust
Kyungho. You are SO right. Everything went up double in the US. Get an online English program. The kids needs to be encouraged about their education and the importance of going to school. Dianna you look pretty. Kyungho go to work buddy. But you guys need to take care of yourselves.
Dianna you are Glowing 💕
5:53 I can see why you were frustrated… hang in there Mom your doing Great!
They are getting so big.......I think once they get there it will be okay. I work with kindergarten age children and first day they were nervous, unsure. Just give it time.....
I will definitely keep watching your channel. Such a lovely family 🤗💜💜💜
He looks like his dad ☺️☺️☺️👍👍👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
