Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s awesome to hear that you found the tutorial and interface helpful, especially since you’re new to auto battlers. The game does a great job of easing players in, which makes it accessible while still offering depth for those who want to dive deeper. Glad you enjoyed the review and the game-Tales & Tactics really is a fantastic entry point into the genre!
My only complaints are that the decreased army size compared to other autochess games like the league or dota ones, combined with the minimal overlap of factions, means that you are really locked in to "get one faction to full" or "have 2-3 half factions" with very little wiggle room. Also, that the army size is 6, but there are 7 unit spots on the side of the board, making you think there's some way to get another unit the first few times you play. I'm guessing that slot is for if you get one of those special units that don't take up a slot, but it still just bothers me aesthetically.
What do you think about "Tales & Tactics"? Does it live up to the hype of blending roguelike strategy with auto-battler mechanics? Share your thoughts below! Also, if you’ve tried it out, let us know your favorite unit combinations and strategies. I’m curious to see how everyone is building their armies! If you’re new to the game, feel free to ask any questions-I’ll do my best to help. I've never played an auto battler and I found the game pretty easy to learn, it has a good tutorial and interface. Good review, this game is great.

I fail to see the deep gameplay other than the fact that it is an auto battler.
