Oh please they both thrive on this. What would be more infuriating to them is not being noticed and ignored. Both have enough money to retire and hide under the radar as many celebrities who age out do. I call their bull crap. Jenn keeps taking selfies and putting herself out there. Ben always leaves with his car window down until the paparazzi “notice him” then he rolls the window up. He can’t wait 5-10 minutes until he’s driving to roll the window down. He wants to be noticed. I really believe Ben Affleck is "insecure and needy." Deep down, I think he wants to be "the man," around Hollywood, specifically when he is going out and around Stars like George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and other well-respected men in the business. I think he desires "arm candy" to make him "puff out his chest" and feel more confident.
What better arm candy is there than someone like JLo.
But in the end, insecurity and low self-esteem are things an individual has to work on for himself/herself. You can't get your self-worth from your spouse or mate.
I think Ben Affleck "thought" he was going to grab JLo and somehow magically everything in his world would be right and wonderful, but he ended up getting a BIG surprise!
And in my opinion, JLo got a BIG surprise, as well!
Ben Affleck and JLo are not young anymore. When you're older, you're hopefully wiser, but that wisdom can make it harder for you to stay with someone you're not getting along with.

Some celebrities choose to live in LA. Paparazzi as part of their job, need pictures to sell to make money, so they too are in LA.
