i have so much respect for the gx guys... i lived in sf for 5 years. these hills aren't even like... walkable. skating down them is delusional at best. concrete tsunamis these things. your trucks are quivering, your legs are burning, your stomach is completely sunk. going too fast for drivers to react. you are truly at the mercy of whatever force is above us. it's a bloodsport, and for these guys to make that look fun is what i call art. absolutely brolic. i come back to this section often to remind myself that everything is possible on a skateboard, and that fortune favors the bold. do something scary today.

Totes understand. I live in a relatively hilly town in the UK, not SF hilly but there are some long rides. But I'm also close to an Olympic mountain bike course and those rock drops look very different on screen from the reality. Like no effing way, I'm dropping in on those; and I can do somersaults off 10-foot beach cabins.

I saw this rail in person about four years ago when I was in SF and staying at the hotel where it's located. I was like 45 and thought it was a perfect rail except for the crazy steep hill that I just walked up with my luggage. Something I would have never touched even in my 20s. It's insane to see people doing tricks on it and bombing the hill.
I lived at bush and mason for 15 years and that hill going into bush street is crazy... like some people have trouble walking up it... shits wild. RIP summer place
When the cars are parked sideways, it’s to avoid it slipping out of park because of the steepness of a hill. Next level insanity, this shit is way crazier to look at in person. That rail is huge, and that hill is just fucked
