Yes, this dude is definitely off the chains, and shreds like no other. If you are making fun of his playing, you are either too old or very narrow minded. The passion that this man, and the rest of his band puts into their playing definitely shows.
@@crawlingamongthestars3736 Atonality and dissonance are one thing, but being sloppy as fuck just to look like you're playing fast is another. AnarchY Ash Aubrey I disagree with almost everything you said, so I'll just pretty much leave it at that, though yes, live their tone could be better, but that can be said about SO many extreme bands. I've seen Vitriol live twice, and lots of others, so I have an idea about what typical live sound is at a death/black metal concert.
@@AnarchYAshAubrey to call this muddy and pure shit is odd... the tone isnt bad, and live they sound great... there is alot of stuff going on in his playing that is purposeful. He trashes up certain riffs on purpose because they are meant to be... but when he needs it tight its tight. He is only doing the exact same thing hendrix and srv did. The difference here is the atonality and speed... its not something you care for and thats ok. But to not recognize that he plays loose at times on purpose and say its shit just because you dont care for the style is irresponsible. Lol. I honestly cant tell if hes good or not. Even on their albums you can barely hear him. The facial expressions are only cool if hes high on meth or crack. Otherwise they're lame.
people keep saying his playing isn’t clean but they have no idea what they’re talking about. It’s rough and aggressive and makes perfect sense for the style of music and who he is as a player and as a person, but his noting is definitely clear.
Kyle is my favorite player right now hands down. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Baltimore, and he graciously signed my guitar for me. Kyle was the most kind and accommodating to a fan of anyone I’ve gotten to meet in music . If you’re reading this Kyle, you really made my night , thank you
I respect the intensity...I feel like this band is reaching for something and they're almost there...great playing, getting hints of Trey Azagthoth \m/
Besides the incredible talent from Kyle, what I love most about that clip is the fact that a seasoned musical genius like Jocke Skog can´t get the grin off his face when watching him ... speaks for both of them without a word.
I met this cat at there show with goatwhore his pedal bored was huge it had more lights knobs buttons It had the way as much as his cabinet and had I was razzing him about it and he was a good sport. Had a good time chatting with him great guy, great band
Wow, Im 47m i HATED Old School Death Metal in my late teen and early 20 being into "Big4" type bands. I found this guy a few months ago and *faaaarqnL* !!! , LOVE his passion, the Riffs and watching him play. Now an avid Vitriol Fan and put my 16yo son on to, whos laping it up too ! Crazy thing is, having met him, he's one of the three most humble and nicest Guys anyone can talk to. Hes interested in talking to you and happy to answer the same questions from you, he's probably been asked 5000+ times. A true Patriot of this country too.
How are these people just having a casual conversation in the background while this level of intensity is exploding behind them? And how can they even hear themselves talking?
I'm sure he gets so used to playing and doing vocals that it just sticks with him and almost acts as a cue for his playing. I know I, and many others, make involuntary faces when playing.
It becomes natural after composing, rehursing, jamming, performing, and recording it. I'm sure it'd be difficult, not to mouth the words as he's plays. It's muscle memory at this point.
I fucking truly appreciate the passion this band puts into their music. You can tell by the way he masters (plays) his guitar that their is passion in every strum. *caveat, I’m not a guitarist so I hope I didn’t butcher any technical terms.

Pushing death metal forward!
Lots of people can't appreciate atonality and dissonance, even within death metal, so it's not surprising that their music would see some pushback.

Anyone who ever makes fun of Kyles expression while playing guitar has never written riffs that genuinely capture their own rage and anguish.

You have to make those faces to hit the notes
Tons of guitarists make faces they don't even know they're making. It takes an insane amount of concentration not to.
I freakin'agree with the comments above
Between his speed, clarity in his noting, and those menacing facial expressions= hands down to me hes the most fkn intense guitarist ever at this time

That solo is so good. Just the right amount of chaos, bends, phrasing, it all works. Sick
This guy lives the sounds he is making.
Like Jimi used to.
That solo is insane.Kyle holds instrument of chaos in his own hands
Dude. THE PAIN AND HATE this dude puts into his music is insane. He feels every fuckin note and KILLS IT. Brutal stuff man it’s so awesome.
Legit have never seen things get THIS lit at the NAMM show haha
I'm used to seeing demos by guys like Rob Chapman who for some reason can't play metal any heavier than iron maiden.
Exactly f the dumb s***
Something tells me the Vitriol guys really like Hate Eternal. Couldn't for the life of me tell you _why_ I think that....
Hmm, could it be the Rutan-riffing????? Mayhaps? Methinkso!
@@heyimgoingtoplaysomegames gee, couldn't _possibly_ be that!
Some nile influences as well.
Nile and perhaps some Belphegor or behemoth thrown in there too
Big ups to the people who produced this footage! Great production value!
What the ever-loving fuck? How have I never heard of these guys? Everything about this video was badass; the playing, the guitar, the amp, everything
At 30 seconds that is some drop dead serious headbanging💪👊
Bruh! That is the most intense shredding/riffing guitar work I have EVER heard. 👏👍
kyle is a super nice guy, people hear the music and say OMyGosh he must be really mean. nope not at all, very calm and easy going.
That's because their music is an outlet for all that aggression lol

Toured with these guys in 2019 and they’re all amazing human beings
What does a modern viking berserker look like while playing guitar? See above. Freaking badass.

Seen em in Richmond VA and they brought it big time.
Severely underrated. This guy is the best extreme metal guitarist since Jon Levassuer.
Great to see that he really performs even when he is just there alone in a booth on a fair. Fing killer tone as well!
The amount of passion or possession this guy has is fucking incredible

Love this guy

It's always interesting how possesed Kyle looks whenever he plays with all the neck twitching, mouth movements, and Undertaker eye rolls lol
😮 now this is a heavy performance 🤘🤘🤘 awesome!
DUDE WHAT A MONSTER... CANT WAIT TO CHECK YOU GUYS OUT AT TEMPLE YEG!!
Always gives 200% no matter what the situation. Insane dood!
So Brutal. Kyle is an animal. The guy in the background knows he is slaying it. That solo, and that tremolo dive is crazy.
I saw Vitriol in Manchester, England. Their debut is a masterpiece & Kyle can fuckin shred!!
The frontiers of extreme metal are untamed as always!
I feel like watching this is improving my guitar playing and testosterone profile. INTENSITY. Highly Glorious.
I love these riffs.

Absolute Shredder. Brutality at it's finest.
🔥👊🔥 Ripping! The expressions from the Novak folk in these vids cracks me up. "You whipper snappers and your loud music!" 😂

Yo is Kyle like "singing" along while he plays or something?
I believe so. Mouthing the words cuz he also does some vocals so im sure its automatic
I've seen mouth the words as well as the movements of the guitar was well.
